Lock in setting for sort by time

Surprised this isn't a feature or option. Recurring tasks, I would think, it would be natural for them to stay organized by their due date, but they once marked as complete, they regenerate to the top of the list instead of by it's due date. 1 of the things I use my lists for is bills due, so to constantly have to resort by time is no bueno.
