Lists: Allow for more layers
Just like a subtask, but inside lists.
If I have a big assignment, just like a birthday party, I should be able to create a list named Birthday Party, create sublists like Cake, Decoration and Invitations and then, inside those lists create each individual task with its subtasks inside of them.
This feature will be available in the near future. Stay tuned :)

I understand any.do is trying to keep todos as simple as possible which is great. I want something that's simple and easy to use. BUT organization is absolutely crucial and that's what sublists do. Yes you can add a million tags to each task to break them down but that becomes a mess which defeats the purpose of keeping any.do simple.
Any.do has a great software but you have to think... Technology keeps advancing. We have so much going on in our lives nowadays. We have so many things we need to capture. Our brains can't hold and remind us of all this. Breaking down lists into a simple structure like used in the GTD Method is the perfect way to organize everything that's coming at us nowadays.
You guys are pushing this workplace feature heavy. Does this have sublists? If not, why are you pushing this so much then? Most professionals need a clear system they can use without having a million lists or tags. Just a suggestion. I have faith the any.do team can create this pretty easy. thanks

The idea of sub lists has been mentioned here as a means of saving time- and Im assuming one could create a sublist very easily by clicking on available sublist headings.
One obvious sublist could be for medications where the list would allow us to enter the med, then just x off those days and times the med should be taken.
Along the same lines one always forgets to renew prescriptions and again, a simple Box to click under a given date for RX renewal where the drug name popped up could be very helpful -

Yes, this is also consistent with the Getting Things Done framework (David Allen). For example, I might have a list which is called Books to Read, but that's under a broader umbrella of Someday/Maybe. (In this simple example subtasks maybe could work, but for more complex examples, you would need to have subtasks available for additional detail).
If there was an ability to tag entire lists (separate from the tasks within the list) that could work as well. I know that tags are already organized in the forms of lists from the Grid View. But if you have dozens of lists, applying tags to the lists themselves helps with the organization.

I miss this feature a lot from Wunderlist as well

I agree with this. Sub lists would be extremely helpful

Seems entirely logical to me. I cannot even figure out how to slide tasks into their appropriate folder to organize spontaneous ideas I have had throughout the week (added on phone). I miss todoist.

Yep, this feature would be great. I want to have a list for all my university stuff with different sublists for the individual subjects.

Many times we are working on various projects having similar tasks with different target dates. User should able to create master file with sub tasks, which can be copied as new project. Upload from Excel file will also add value...

I Totally agree. It's quite urgent this feature in the app.

I'd find it really useful if instead of "My Lists" and all the lists underneath, you could have more than one predominant list. For instance, I could have a "Work" main list and underneath have lists for specific projects, but also have a "Home" list, where I could have lists for daily habits, shopping, cleaning etc. I love absolutely everything else but this would may Any.do a total dream for me.

Would be nice to have options to show the notes and/or subtasks in the general task view.
Both in widget and main app. Options to turn this on or off because some people might still only want to see the task names.Example: If I have a task to call someone and I put the phone number in the notes, I'd like to be able to see it directly underneath the task and be able to click to call it. Right now I have to click on the task, and double tap on the number (coz it doesn't get recognized as link yet)
to get the option to actually call. -

Ability to organize lists into folders (folders of lists, not just folders of tasks)
I see many feature requests regarding "folders" as archived / released / passed but they seem to not suggest the same idea.
I would like, similarly to Wunderlist, to be able to organize entire *lists* into folders.
For instance, I'd like "Work" to be a folder of tasklists (and not just a list of tasks like now).
If you want to use Any.do in a professional context, you're likely to have one list per project, and it becomes a real clutter along with all your Personal etc. lists if you can't put them all in one "Work" folder. It would go like:
/WORK (folder)
- project A (list)
-- task 1
-- task 2
-- task 3- project B (list)
-- task 1
-- task 2
-- task 3/PERSONAL (folder)
- birthday party (list)
-- task 1
-- task 2
-- task 3- holidays
-- task 1
-- task 2
-- task 3Without this I cannot see how it can handle professional contexts where you have more than one project at a time.
NB: I don't see tags as a manner to achieve this either since it would force to manually tag each and every task of a list to link it to a master "Work" label for instance, to replace just a master folder.
Hope this will catch your attention!
This is my main missing feature from Wunderlist. Otherwise it does a wonderful job if not better at the rest :) -

Want a do to list app that allows sublists. So where I have my own business and personal, should be marketing, accounting, operations, under each list - then I can put tasks in the right area.
Same with personal could be holiday, renovation, shopping, etc
Love the rest of the app but deleted after 20 minutes as cant do this like other apps offer - seems simple and basic feature unless I've missed it

Or creating a folder will also suffice.

It would be great and useful if we can have sublists under a list. Like project and subprojects.

Should be able to nest one board under another

I'd like to be able to ident subtasks because that way we would be able to have multiple levels of tasks, making it easy to break a big task in smaller ones.

Like on Wunderlist, to be able to create a folder & then have ‘files’ within them.

Now we have All, main Groups when we click on it it will show tasks in it. instead can we have a one more level for grouping tasks. It can be as Kanban Board also.
