We appreciate everyone's input regarding this suggestion! At this time, this type of feature is not on our agenda but should it be relevant in the future we will reactivate this request :)

Please note that tasks are added automatically under Today as part of our productivity features so users can prioritize those items and use My Day to assign due dates as needed.

If you wish to add to any of the other categories, you're able to:

On mobile - tap the + icon next to the relevant time category and add the tasks directly under it.

On desktop - simply use the multi-column sorting to add the task directly to the column of your choosing.

  5. Product: Associate multiple e-mail addresses with one Any.Do account

I live and die by the ability to turn e-mail messages into task items by e-mailing them. I signed up for Any.Do using my gmail account, but want to be able to e-mail tasks from my corporate account as well. Without being able to associate that address to my Any.Do signup account, e-mail doesn't help me.

I could cancel that account and switch to corporate, but ultimately the strength of a good list management system is also its ability to unify multiple sources into a single list, so I think this feature is very relevant.

    Either that, or set up…

Like many similar apps Any.do was created to support only one email account. We appreciate the feedback however we must pass on this one.

  6. Notes: Independent notes

Please add the ability to add notes separately from a task. I need notes that won't disappear when a task is completed.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Any.do was designed for productivity and less for archive/note-taking 🙂

While notes are not a separate feature, you can still add them under specific tasks and if you do not want to see them in the collective views (7 Days/All Tasks/Calendar), you may simply place these items in the Someday category and only review them when needed!

  7. Integration: Tizen OS (Samsung watch)

It will be nice to get Any.do reminders and manage my lists with tasks in Samsung Galaxy Watch series.
Samsung has a pretty good IDE to develop apps for TizenOS: https://www.tizen.org/

  8. Grocery List accessibility

The Grocery List is a great feature, but it is so difficult to access! I see others have also requested a separate widget or icon. Anything to make it easier to access. Currently I have to open the widget, tap on the grocery basket icon, tap on the name of the grocery list - all before actually accessing the list.

We appreciate your feedback and input! We reviewed this request and decided against adding it to our road map, for the time being. That said, we will definitely revisit this in the future as our product evolves :)

  9. Calendar: Sync tasks to native calendar

As for now, zappier integration to create sync between Google Calendar and any.do is not good enough. Please support it natively without zappeir. This is the only reason why I'm not using your product!

  10. Tasks: Add an icon to indicate tasks that have notes

The icon should appear next to tasks in task lists. And it should appear on task notifications.

This has been raised before, and marked by devs as complete. But the functionality has not been added.

  12. Allow to see what List is the task from in My Day

When I look at MyDay, I want to see which List the task is from. Same for Priority assigned — I want to see tags clearly, not as a small line

My Day already has the title of the list showing right above the title of the task :) For assistance, reach out to our support team at https://www.any.do/contact_form

  13. Notes: Scan hand written notes

Sometimes I write out a list of notes in my notebook. I would Iike to be able to scan these with the phone camera to import these into Any.Do

We appreciate your feedback and input! We reviewed this request and decided against adding it to our road map, for the time being. Some devices has this option in their native features, so you're welcome to scan it accordingly and add the text from there to Any.do :)

  14. Turn links with custom schemes within notes clickable

Currently, only links starting with the schemes "http://" and "https://" are clickable.

Links using different schemes (such as "obsidian://" and "logseq://") are not.

  16. No need to assign specific time reminder to a task in order to add it to Today or Tomorrow

I want to be able to plan for tomorrow and add to Tomorrow without assigning a time reminder first. Then I go to Calendar and decide on time for each task.

The time categorie are time-based so the tasks must have a reminder/due date in order to show there :) If you want, you can add directly to the Today/Tomorrow category by simply pressing the + icon next to them on the mobile app or adding to those columns on the web/desktop apps. For assistance, please reach out to our Support Team at https://www.any.do/contact_form

  17. Desktop: Easily add tags to new tasks

When I try to create a new task, I want to be able to attach a tag to the task to categorize it properly. When I click the tag button, it only provides me four tag options from my list of available tags (sorted alphabetically here which is inconsistent with other areas in the app). To get around this, I need to create the task, open it and then add the tags as a separate step.

Users should be able to do everything as part of one step, instead of multiple.

  18. learning: space repetition for content

often I take no notes of content I learn, cause ?! ... on content from coursera, youtube videos etc.
But I want to repeat it in a few days/month. So I am using ur app for it (cause I find it quiet intuitive), but maybe it could be an extension for it. Remnotes is doong a similar thing I believe, but its not available on ios. the files may visualise what I mean

  19. Provide an option to suppress the calendar

Sorry but I don't use the calendar at all so I really don't want it taking up half my screen real-estate

This just isn't how I want to be using AnyDo

  20. Recurring Tasks push to prior week days

Recurring tasks that need to happen on a timely manner but that fall on a Sunday should have the option to be bumped to the nearest week day prior to the date. e.g. payroll reminders that happen on Sunday the 19th should be able to jump to Friday the 17th so that I'm not sitting there on Monday the 20th without being able to get it done on time.
