How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  3. Product: Disable vibration when moving tasks

    Please give the opportunity to disable vibrating feedback when moving tasks in the list. It is extremely annoying, especially in public.

  4. UI: Select new tasks location (top/ bottom)

    When new tasks are added to a list, at present they populate the TOP of the list. New tasks should be added at the end of the list. If I have a list of tasks that I am thinking about in order, and I enter them consecutively, I end up with a list that is backwards!

    I really like Any.do, but simple UX flaws like this will probably prevent me from switching over to it.

  5. Calendar: Display colored dots in agenda

    I would love it if the calendar in the app was just like the calendar in the widget.
    Reasons the widget is better:
    1. Dots under dates indicate events
    2. Only see events/tasks for ONE date by selecting it
    3. Don't have to deal with the annoying scrolling function
    4. Better for "At a glance"

  6. Calendar: Allow choosing colors

    In the calendar when you have multiple calendars synced these are assigned heir own default colours based on the order you added them. It would be better if I could choose my own colors ie) red for personal, blue for work, green for birthdays and yellow for Boston bruins schedule. Thanks! :)

  8. Product: No-sound/ 'vibrate only' mode

    For me sound is annoying and often inconvenient. I prefer vibration only. Can you add a preference of "no sound" or "silent" in the sound preference picker?

  9. Product: Add Grocery icon to widget

    To reach easily to grocery list from widget, I recommend to add an icon next to task and calendar tabs for going through grocery list. It's so wonderful that you add smart grocery list, but it's difficult to reach this list from widget.

  11. Moment: Display Color Tags

    When plan my day, and we have a lot item and tags, it's more difficult identify items tags, because It not appears. It's better if when planning day, every items visibility the tags corresponding. Some case we have same item on different tags.

  14. Widget: My Day

    I really like the My Day function, unfortunately there is no corresponding widget to it. It's more convenient and focused than the classic task view. Could you make a widget for My Day? It would be awesome.

  17. Reminder: Open app from pop-up

    When clicking a notification I'd like to have it open the app or leave it the way it is now but add a button to the popup to open the reminder in the app like maybe clicking the title or the bell to open the app.

    instead of filling up notification bar with multiple icons for multiple reminders, group them and show single icon with multiple tasks

  19. Choose Multiple Dates or Provide Duplication for Events / Tasks

    Simply set multiple chosen dates or allow for a duplicate event / task option. Not to be mistaken with recurrence. I dont want this to repeat based on a weekly or daily value. This can also be handled with allowing for custom templates, in this case the template would be fully filled out and just used on multiple dates.

  20. Have a widget for just agenda

    Hi,

    Thank you for the amazing app and all the hardwork tht goes into maintaining and improving it! Very appreciative and grateful! =)

    If possible, It'd be nice to have a widget for just the Day agenda(scrolling).

    So at a quick glance I know my timeline for both task and events.
