UI: Select new tasks location (top/ bottom)
When new tasks are added to a list, at present they populate the TOP of the list. New tasks should be added at the end of the list. If I have a list of tasks that I am thinking about in order, and I enter them consecutively, I end up with a list that is backwards!
I really like Any.do, but simple UX flaws like this will probably prevent me from switching over to it.

I have been a very satisfied user of any.do for years. However, I do not see why something so essential has not been realised after all this time. Very disappointing!

I'm surprised to see that this has been an issue for so long. My guess would be that there are many more people unhappy about it that don't realize there's a voting feature. It's common to make a to-do list in a timed order or order of importance, so this should be a standard option.

Guys, please add this feature
This is really annoying to see new tasks added at the top, the lists are getting messy because of this

Nearly 5 years later and nothing. What the hell. This is the only part of the app I hate, and it ruins it completely for me.

Would prefer it as a choice of adding to top or bottom, but if we only get one or the other; bottom is way more useful for me.

Maybe that is going too far by making it a default that can't be changed, but at least give the option to change where new tasks appear.

When I make the schedule of the day I start from the morning tasks and end with a night tasks. So it is logical and convenient to have my morning tasks on the top. BUT I SHOULD REMOVE EVERY SINGLE TASK TO HAVE THEM THAT WAY. Because for now there is no option to fill the list from the top down.

After selecting a tag, my thumb is naturally drawn to the bottom of the screen to hit "Save" however it finds a "Add new tag" button instead...
On other pop-ups on your web app, the main action button is at the bottom...

Currently, all new added tasks go to the top of the list, and I would like them at the bottom. It would be nice to have default settings for how lists can be displayed. Also, it would be nice if you could scroll down when moving a task from one day to another day, whereas right now, you can only pop it into somewhere on the top 5 or so that are displayed.

I believe it would increase functionality if you add an option for users to select to add new entries to the beginning of a list or the end. That would make my life much easier, since I write lists in order of priority. But, on any.do my lists end up with the highest priorities at the bottom, either making them unwieldy to use or forcing me to spend the time to manually reverse the order. It would make sense to give users the choice and it should be a difficult addition.

@Chris - Don't hold your breathe. I commented on this thread 2 years ago, and have made my own post for this exact feature. However, I'm glad to see that this has 51 votes now. I don't remember the exact number when I posted, but I know it wasn't this high. Also, I know there are other requests for this, or simply adding task to the bottom of the list, maybe we should try and combine then all to get the numbers up so the dev will actually look at it.
Still amazes me that this isn't an option yet...

"I typically add tasks for the current day in the order I will do them and the current set up then has my first task at the very bottom, which means I need to scroll the widget every time I want to view the next task."

Every time I add a task it's prepended on top of the task list, not appended at the bottom. I'd like an option to control where new tasks should be added to the list.

Please, add an option for this! (Android and chrome add-on) It's so counter-intuitive to either need to enter every item in a list in the opposite order to the order you intend to do them, or to have to enter everything then drag each item to the other end of the list.
Or since the app uses gestures a lot anyway, how about, when you've finished writing a task, a single tap on the (+) adds it to the top of the list, and a double-tap adds it to the bottom of the list?

When you have a long list dragging something to the top is cumbersome and involves trying to drag while scrolling.
A workaround on the web app is to drag into an unused column to the right (tomorrow, upcoming, someday), going to the top of this you can then drag it where you need to at the top of the home column.
What would work better would be a Send to Top option like on Jira boards.

All new items are put at the top of the list. Some might like that for all of their lists, some might want to new items added to the top of one list and the bottom of another, and some might want to set a default to the bottom for new items. I prefer the middle option, but I'd like to set my default to the bottom and change it for just a couple.

Be able to add items to the bottom of the list, instead always to the top automatically

YES!!!!! The fact that there is not an option for this is the only thing that I DO NOT like about any.do. I try to do a brain dump every so often to clear my mind of built up tasks, and I don't use any.do for this reason. This would save me from having to use 2 and sometimes 3 separate applications.
