How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Tracking and Reports: Completion percentage per task

    Percentage completion of a task.
    User could describe from how many parts task consist, and application could show in what percentage task is completed. Eg.: Task: Read a book. 22 pages of 200. Completion: 11% or: Task and 4 subtasks. One subtasks completed. Completion of main task: 25%

  2. Product: Edge panel support

    This feature could be useful for other Edge products from Samsung as well. But especially for note edge, ability to see the current pending tasks and closing them directly would be a great feature in my opinion.

  3. Product: Add a follow-Up option

    Currently, the only available button when you mouse over a task is the "Complete" button. The Follow Up button, which could be placed to the left of the current "Complete" button, could assign a color to the task, say, yellow, and send the task to the end of the list OR to a list of Follow ups instead of keeping it in the to do list.

  5. Customization: Allow users to customize the widget

    ..to use any list not only all tasks as now.
    Preferably it would somehow change once I got to work, school, home automatically. I use the widget a lot. Thx for providing an otherwise awsome app :-) (PS i would buy premium if it was cheaper)

  8. Tasks: Change reminder without tapping on the bell icon

    I review all my "today tasks" and "tomorrow tasks" at the start of each day. It would be great to be able to adjust the due date of a task much more efficiently. I normally do this by dragging and dropping tasks that are "today" to other columns. This can be quite slow and cumbersome especially in the web view (especially when you are managing a huge list like I do). In the view that has all the tasks listed in one long list it would be great to have a column that shows the due date of each task…

  9. Tasks: Option to add notes/ files/ subtasks while adding a new task

    please let me easily add notes when adding a new task. today I must close the new task then click it again and then click over the "attach" icon to be able to add additional notes
    the same for other kind of attachments
    and the same for choosing the category
    it should be great if the current icons you show under the task (when clicking it on a list) will be available during the very first task add operation (when asking for the task name)

  11. Moment: Option to turn off sounds

    When Im planning my day in the morning, I have to turn off my phone sounds every time, because it is as loud as my ringtone volume is set. Im almost everytime at my office, it is disturbing and I dont need to hear those sounds,when I´m already watching phone and planning my tasks, it is annoying. Just one option at sound setting - ANY.do moment sounds - on/off pleeeease....

  12. Reminders: Allow pinning locations on the map

    The app only allows you to type a location where you want to be reminded. This is a disaster because not all locations are listed on the database and consecuently you are unable to set the remider.

    It would be great if you could manually displace the pin on the map to the desired location.

  13. Ui: Improve date and time interface (text input)

    Instead of scrolling could we just input manually by typing the desired date and time? At the moment on my phone when I add a task I have to spend a while scrolling through times and dates before I get the one I want. This is especially an issue when I want to put long term tasks in (e.g. review a direct debit, renew my passport etc.)

  14. Product: Add an archive

    It would archive the list for later retrieval. It would be useful when alot of list are available and not all are used. It will show less clutter

  15. Sharing: Add admin roles

    In case of shared list there is a chance that the follower of the task may delete the task without notice to the leader ,resulting loss of business. To ensure this only leader should be allowed to delete the task. This right can be given to follower by choice or can be locked.

  16. Do@any.do: Option to send tasks from different emails

    Create an inbox function on any.do to email list items to from any email client.Then you are able to forward emails from work/home to add to your lists.

  17. Grocery List: Lists by stores

    It would be nice to add a "store name" with a drop down of what you need from that store. It is too difficult to sort through all of the items if you need to go to multiple locations.
    I.e.
    Supermarket
    Fruit
    Bread
    Hardware store
    Nuts
    Bolts

    You don't need to see the fruit and bread if you're trying to remember what you needed at the hardware store.

    When a task is entered/completed/updated, add a time / date stamp and initials (or something) so we can tell when the update occurred.
