Reminders: Separate items for recurrences
Once a recurring task is completed, it should be reflected as any other completed task. Right now, the task is always shown even once it's done because eventually it needs to be done again. This means you never really have the satisfaction of completing the task, and tend to ignore when it's actually time to do it because it's just always hanging around...
My suggestion would be for recurring tasks to disappear from the list once completed, and reappear the day before the task is set to recur.

Views: Custom filter/ sort options
Would be really nice if you could sort and filter tasks in different ways.
For example:
- all tasks depending on due date
- all tasks depending on date they were created
- tag task with different projects and sort them due to this
- tag tasks with color
- show in the task name to what project in belong265 votes -

Tasks: Add image per task
I would be able to post pictures with my goals to help me visualize it everytime I look at them. Everytime I think of my goals I like to visualize my self accomplishing them already I also like to see what I'm working for. Visualizing is a key part accomplishing set tasks or goal right along with writing them down to bring them to reality.

Views: Add a tree view
I would like to be able to change the view from tiles to tree view or list view in 3 layers. layer 1 list, layer 2 subtasks, layer 3 the tasks - this way I would see what is going on. like in a mind-map I open my tasks with a + if I want to see them.

Tasks: Duplicates alert
When you create a checklist and enter an item already in the list, it should prompt you that you've already added it and confirm if you still want to add it again.

Customization: Rich Text Options
If I copy text from an email (not upload a file), I would like the notes to maintain the formatting and include the pictures. I think this is likely hard, as only few programs allow this, but I think it would make my love for this todo list skyrocket. I have tried many different lists, and this one is the most promising. I work at a company where I really need to make the email-to-todo transition as easy as possible. And, the only thing that's stopping that is the lack of rich text/ HTML format for notes.

do@any.do: Email tasks with subtasks
Using any.do for work projects, I think a great new feature would be the ability to add subtasks as well as the ability to share the task with others when creating tasks via email. The CC field of the email could be used for adding email addresses to share the task with, and for creation of subtasks.. perhaps the use of the + symbol preceding a line of text like the following:
+subtask 1
+subtask 2
+subtask 3..and so on.
With the work I do, a lot of the projects require the same tasks to be completed.. so adding…

Lists: Allow for more layers
Just like a subtask, but inside lists.
If I have a big assignment, just like a birthday party, I should be able to create a list named Birthday Party, create sublists like Cake, Decoration and Invitations and then, inside those lists create each individual task with its subtasks inside of them.718 votesThis feature will be available in the near future. Stay tuned :)

Product: Make the app internally consistent
As a brand new user I notice that the light X icon is used to delete lists but it's used to close tasks after edit which makes me hesitate at first and then becomes regularly jarring every time I use it. For closing preferences a tick is used, but to close support bar a left arrow is used! The tick to close preferences is also used to open them, which makes me think I might be using it wrong at first and then after that makes it feel rather static, broken and counter-intuitive.
Since X has a "close but don't…
