Views: Custom filter/ sort options
Would be really nice if you could sort and filter tasks in different ways.
For example:
- all tasks depending on due date
- all tasks depending on date they were created
- tag task with different projects and sort them due to this
- tag tasks with color
- show in the task name to what project in belong

I manage several lists simultaneously and it would be nice to be able to have them in a view (Kanban style) and then organized respectively by due dates. I can do it in Google Tasks and other programs.
Today
>Personal
- task 1
- task 2
>Grocery
- task 3
>Consulting
>....It would also be fine if I could do it by list
Personal
> Today
- Task 1
- Task 2
>Tomorrow
- Task 3
>Upcoming
- Task 4 -

Filter by recurring items as well as non recurring items of the day must be added.

sorting by tag (ie. priority) is essential for me to continue to use any.do. About to switch to Todoist because of this

It would be extremely helpful in my particular case if I had the ability to sort my lists in oldest to newest (top to bottom). This is because I want to complete the oldest task first. But the program automatically sorts the list newest to oldest (top to bottom), So I have to drag every item to the bottom. It would be awesome to have more sorting options like this or even alphabetical or by labels. Thanks for hearing me!

We should to be able to filter by list and by tag. Also in "All tasks", "Today" and "Next 7 Days".
This is something basic, to be able to see many lists at the same time, but only those I want. Also, add these filters to the web version!

To be able to sort in any way with user defined "sort options" is really needed to further improve any.do.
Obviously nothing has happen since October 2019 -- long time for no reaction from any.do :-( -

I use separate lists to segregate elaborate work projects because subtasks can't be given due dates, etc. But I also have a generic "Work" list. When at work, I'd like to be able to go to "All Tasks" but have a filter option to hide HOme and Personal lists. I don't need to see a reminder to brush my teeth at the office ;)

I was interesting mainly task per location, for example I want to see task that I need to do only at my home, and some on my job locations,
So I can have a simple location filter that shows only this -

Totally wanted this feature. I switch from todoist to any.do I truly want this filter tag feature as todoist had it.

Please implement selection of multiple lists in the Web App (e.g. CTRL+CLICK). I have many lists that don't contain true To Do items that I don't want to appear in the Time view. For example, when I'm at work, I display my Work list, however, I may have some To Do's in my Personal list that I'd like to be able to see in the Today card so that I can manage those as well. Perhaps include an icon, coloring, or some other method to differentiate when viewed together in a single card. This would be easier than dealing with manipulating due dates, reminders, etc. If there is a way to do this already that I haven't found, please let me know.

Indeed, this would permit to find exactly the right task at the right moment ! (for example : for work, AND in the train, or at work AND priority AND for project "A").
Today, you can "only" see your classic lists, or your tags lists, so you have in fact 2 types of lists, which is not a VERY usefull function for the premium accounts compared to the free accounts.
Thank you Any.do team !

Would love to be able to select which categories of tasks are displayed.
For example, sometimes i want to see all categories except one and other times it might be just two categories instead of just one or all.

It would be great if you could set up custom filters based on selecting multiple tags. This way you can set up custom views based on the different tags you need. Would give users a level of customisation that I think people would appreciate.
Would also be great to see tags in the web version! But I'm sure you already know that one.

Allow these options:
* Next week
* Next month
* All upcoming tasks (as it's now)
* Until user-defined dateWhen I do scheduling for next week / month, I really do not need to know that I'm about to visit my dentist 6 months later from today. The Upcoming tasks list is completely cluttered and pointless for me at this point. Please!

Allow a view/format in the main all like you get in the mobile app. Allow user in any version of the app create custom views/formats that give flexibility in prioritizing and categorizing items (includings lists that work more like reminders/notes than tasks with with a due date). The user interface is not very visually appealing.

Came here to post idea that I believe falls under this category: being able to sort "all" by both "list' and "time" so that under "Today" those tasks would be sorted by the list they are in or vice versa. For example it would look like:
Today
Work
-write email
-call person
-make money
Personal
-do a jig
-spend moneyTomorrow
Work
-make more money
Etc. -

I use Any.Do for work and also for family planning, If I view all tasks therefore I get important tasks from my work projects mixed with "buying milk" from our shared family shopping list. I would love a feature where I can pick which lists are shown in the all task view.
This would make it easier to use the app for both work and private tasks. -
