I would agree with the comments below, this seems like such a basic and useful feature it's hard to get why it isn't available. I've just started using any.do and that's one of the things I've been looking for straight away.
Clearly everyone has their own schedule and morning/evening don't mean the same thing for everyone. Would really be great to have that feature. -

Yes! If we were able to set our own times for morning, afternoon, evening, etc, then the "any.do moment" and snooze features would actually be useful and productive. Currently, the any.do moment is a large time waster for me because I have to choose a custom time for every task since my morning, afternoon & evening doesn't align with any.do's definition for these times. (My morning doesn't start at 10 am & most people are still driving at 6 pm.)
I don't understand why it has been passed over so many times even though it seems like a simple idea and other free task apps have it. It has been suggested by so many users. This truly would save a lot of time and greatly increase the usefulness of any.do.
I really hope this time will be the time the any.do team actually considers this great idea. I'm really missing having this feature and am noticing that I'm less efficient without it.

Currently only Today and Tomorrow tasks are visible, everything beyond that goes into Upcoming. It would be nice to have other options, like This Week (today to the end of the week), Next 7 days, etc. This allows the user to look/plan ahead a bit more than just tomorrow. The Upcoming list is far too cluttered to be useful for this.

It's not a very large thing to do. Why keep dismissing it as not part of your agenda?

This allows the user to have more freedom than just the options provided of Today, Tomorrow, Upcoming, and Someday. It also helps with managing work and organizing the list even more.

I like Any.do over rivals because of the structured lists (today, tomorrow, upcoming and someday) - they seem natural to me, and I like that it shunts things across overnight, so I need to get on with things or take an active decision to push them back.
I use my list for work, and I do not like that basically it iterates three days over the weekend - so on Monday morning I need to shove everything back into some achievable order.
So, I would like to be able to set which days the lists are in use (e.g. Monday-Friday, but let users choose), and there is NO overnight iteration going into a non-list day.
In other words, "tomorrow" means next working day.

This would be so useful!

It should be possible to modify the time presets for the time buttons in the lower quick add bar to custom times.
Example:
"morning" is set to 10 a.m. by default
set it to 8 a.m. (or another custom time) instead -

I would like my default take view by urgent , important and not by date.

It would be helpful for my workflow to be able to have a header that is titled “Waiting” for things that i’m waiting on other people’s input to be able to complete. I’d also like to be able to create custom headers if possible outside of the Today, Tomorrow, Soon, and Someday options.

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature request, but it would be great if Any.do would either revert to last display settings or some sort of default when I login. I have had the same view for 3 years; All Tasks, By List. Every time I log in I have to set up the display like it is the first time. I believe the mobile app saves this setting, but web does not.

Even tho it's iconic for the app to have a 'today, tomorrow, upcoming, someday' it would be awesome if we could also add/remove them on our own and add 'in the next x days' or 'next week' month' it would be easier to keep a good overview.

please only show today duty setting, future duty don't show, cause too many duty, very stress.

Purpose: To have a one week overview of your tasks.
What: It would be outstanding if you could add the opportunity to select by yourself how many days should be shown in the overview:
Process: Instead of Today, Tomorrow, Shortly, Anytime CHANGE an offer opportunity to select Today, Tomorrow, Thursday, Friday, ...).

I would like to be able to view multiple lists at the same time, but not all my lists. This would be a similar view to the "All" function, but able to just select "Work" and "Personal" for example. I have multiple lists that I keep for various projects, but would like to be able to see a couple of these at the same time.

a user must be able to set default view after opening the app. i.e task, calendar or setting. Currently it opens to last seen view.

I would like to have weekly tasks category separate from upcoming tasks. In fact if category can be customly added, that would be great !!

Why does it always have to launch into the previously used list ?
Isnt it easy to launch into the homescreen ?
Its troubling for people with many lists used frequently. Also, please fix app launching into settings menu (if it was closed in the said page)
Atleast stop the launching into settings page -

It would be nice to have an option to hide/unhide a Task list from the "all" view.
This can be useful if you have task lists for a specific topic that is out of your "normal" workflow. E.g. I was renovating my home and created a specific task list for that. But I didn't find it useful to have all the tasks of this list shown in my "all" task lists as it got mixed with my "normal" day to day work tasks.
It would have been better to have an option to hide it from the "all" list and just review it when needed
