How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Reminders: Allow editing snooze options

    Allow for customising the quick options (15 minutes later, 3 hours later, etc.) that show up when snoozing a task

  2. UX Consistency - Either all actions should save when you click away, or none should. UX is inconsistent across actions currently

    If you type notes in a task then click away, the notes save.
    If you click a tag and then click away, the tag does not save.
    If you start typing a sub task then click away, the subtask saves.

    This behavior causes me to often not commit actions I intended because I'll click somewhere else in the app after performing an action but the app does not commit the action.

  3. Eisenhower matrix grid

    If you can allow users to further put in the to-do tasks in the grid once created so they can prioritize and this is the only feature missing

    And it would make this app like amazing

  4. Notification bar

    I want my to-do list to stay close because it is easy to forget. Can you anchor the tasks to the notification bar until completion?

  5. Calendar: Show archived tasks

    I am trying to utilize this app to plan and schedule house work. I would like to look back on the calendar to see when was the last time the air filter was changed.

    When natural language is used to denote date but not time, time has a default that is not midnight and can be changed by preference in settings.

  7. Reminder for tasks "After\Before work"

    Add the ability to fill the calendar working time with the mark "work" and add a reminder for tasks "after work". I, like many of my acquaintances, have a work schedule "floating" and I do not have the opportunity to put on every day a certain time for reminders. I hope that you will be able to add the ability to fill the calendar with working hours, so that we can add "Before / After work" time for tasks. This option would greatly simplify mine life.

  8. Provide more sorting functionality (Ie. on Creation Date, Modification Date, Task Description)

    I'd like to see more sorting functionality, please. Ie. on Creation Date/Time, Modification Date/Time, Task Description, and within the timelines (today, tomorrow, upcoming, someday, or undated) that are reflected in various views.

  10. UI: Swipe left for context menu

    Two of the most common operations on a task for me are deleting it or moving to another list. If those two options were available on a right swipe sorta like apple reminders, that would make things much more efficient.

    Widget Calander mode: Highlight dates having task assigned with a small preview, display tag colours around the date.

  12. Recover accidental delete

    This issue was posted before and an admin said they show in completed but that is not accurate. I even tried searching because I remembered the first words, the task disappears unless you marked as completed. Need a way to recover

  13. Desktop Mac OS app not usable in narrow breakpoint

    I need the desktop app to be usable when it's in a narrow window size. Currently in a narrow breakpoint, the right panels are simply inaccessible/unusable.

  14. Turkish notification support. It's a completely Turkish app.

    Some of the incoming notifications are in English. Please have full Turkish language support. If it's all in Turkish, I'll buy Premium.

  15. I want to only see my own assigned tasks in widget

    I only want to see my own assigned tasks in widget. I can use the app to see all the groups tasks and who has been assigned. The widget should just be a quick view of my own tasks.

  16. UI: Create narrow view

    I never use the calendar sync and would prefer to be able to resize my window into a narrow view showing only my task list and not the calendar. In my opinion, on a MacBook Air M1 the current desktop design is too wide for a task manager.

  18. Integrations: Add a recurrence option to Zapier

    Add the ability to set Tasks as Recurring from Zaps Google sheet Columns (1 column to allow recurring and another to say every year/month/day) I have many tasks that I add using zapier integration but the integration does not support recurring and I have to go to each task individually and delete reminder then create a new recurring one which is time consuming...

  19. Show subtasks in main list

    Many people ask for this, any.do just added a little icon. But some of us power users need to see our subtasks in the main list to quickly glance. Please reconsider Any.do and let us see subtasks in main list, collapsible would be amazing.

  20. Larger task pannel in DT

    When viewing the list of tasks in DT - the tasks are displayed in a relatively short column. Therefore I can only view 5-6 tasks in the column viewport.

    There is plenty of screen real estate . You can move the UI control sitting above the task column and stretch the column to the full height of the screen, thus providing a much better view of all the pending tasks
