How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. Add an option for completed task to stay in place and not sink to bottom

    Add an option to just tick the task and not sink to bottom
    The task should not fade to gray and task should be on the place it is
    Only the task should be striked

    Add the option to decied whether it will sink or not.

  3. Remider option as Alarm

    It would make this app top notch if you can add notify as alarm option

    Please take a look into Taskeet and HabitNow apps in playstore

    Taskeet is better than habbit now it has option to choose to notify as alarm and this option pops up on screen regardless of phone being silent, vibration mode or DND mode and also when the phone is locked

    It will not go untill I click a button snooze or done

  4. Any.Do for Garmin Smartwatches

    Make any.do available on Garmin Smartwatches (e.g. Garmin Fenix 7) via the Connect IQ store.

  5. see color tags in completed items

    Currently the color tag disappears when you check off an item. I’d like to look back at my day and see what I checked off with the tags. This is important for visually tracking the balance of work I am doing in different areas simultaneously.

  6. Tasks: Pause reoccurring tasks

    It would be nice to pause reoccurring tasks until a future date. For example, when I'm on vacation pause my tasks to water plants until I return home. This prevents needing to remake the task when I get home but keep my task list relevant.

  7. keyboard shortcut to toggle sort by and toggle view

    I have suggestion for keyboard shortcut, can u give this toggle sort by and toggle view a keyboard shortcut, i think this is crucial for navigation, for me this is a gold feature on anydo and I use it a lot

    It will be great if u can give keyboard shortcut for these navigation

  9. For Alerts, have it take up the whole page like samsung calendar

    Create an alert for events and tasks and have it operate like Samsung calendar where the alert takes up the whole page. It comes on even when you sign into your device

  10. Change the custom time for postponing the alarm when i press the "tomorrow" button

    I'd like to be able to change the custom time for postponing the alarm when i press the "tomorrow" button. As I wake up early everyday, i'd like the todo's to be on the screen by 6 am, so i could plan better my day.

  11. Don't convert "Christmas" to a reminder date of 25th December

    If I create a task called "Christmas shopping" or similar it automatically creates a task called "shopping" with reminder set for Christmas day. This is really annoying as I usually create a bunch of tasks around Christmas and have to edit every one that I create. Please don't treat "Christmas" as a date.

  13. Setting to remove icon from MenuBar (macOS)

    There would be a setting in the app "show icon in menuBar". Because right now as long as Any.do is opened, the icon is visible and there is no way to hide it.

    This makes me quit the app instead of closing the window, because I don't want this icon in my MenuBar.

  14. Disable/Remove Reminders

    I need to move tasks around all the time - multiple times per day. Every time I change the day for a task, I need to manually tap/slide the reminder setting to the off position. Sometimes it doesn't even save that setting so the reminder comes back.

    I don't use reminders at all so having to manually disable them all the time is cumbersome. Can we have a setting to just disable that feature entirely? At the very least, remove the logic where it automatically turns the reminder back on whenever the date changes on a task.

  17. Overdue tasks on Today list

    I’ll love to have a separation on the “Today” list tasks where I can easily distinguish the ones that are overdue from the ones that are still upcoming today.
    For example I had 2 tasks to do in the morning and many in the afternoon, I couldn’t complete the ones in the morning and when I tried to look for them they were in between all the other tasks and hard to find

  18. Deleting Tasks w/o Adding to Completed List

    When an unfinished task is deleted, it's still added to the list of Completed Tasks. Can you make it so deleting simply removes an item altogether, rather than marking it done? It's a bit misleading otherwise.

  19. Grocery List, add pictures

    Could make it possible to add pictures or notes to Grocery lists...
    Too help the person doing the shopping, find the right things.
    Ex. Bananas (which Brand, how many kg/p, only bio etc...)

  20. due date vs remind date

    I would like a way to add a due date, not only a reminder date. I use any.do to list the work I have to do for school, and it is pretty annoying to only be reminded on the day of the due date. so I instead write the due date in the title of every task.
