How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. The Tags / coloring function should have more HIGHLIGHT, the current solution is very poor. See details on the attached pictures.

    One of the reasons I upgraded to Any.Do Premium was the Tags / coloring function.

    Currently I consider this function a promise but not a solution at all. The function in the web version shows a little bit something but still not a help. This little tiny tine colored line is almost equal with nothing. On top of this the same function on the Android App is equal with NOTHING, this tiny dot is like a flyspeck. This function should have more highlighting.

    The [Tags] setup in the web version shows a PERFECT solution, this is what I call COLORING!…

  2. Widget: My Day

    I really like the My Day function, unfortunately there is no corresponding widget to it. It's more convenient and focused than the classic task view. Could you make a widget for My Day? It would be awesome.

  3. Save a screenshot as a task directly from the share button of my phone.

    A picture is with a thousand words. If I share an image from the web or another app, the picture serves as my reminder to do something.

  4. Pending

    I would like to be able to swipe a task have have the option to select "pending". This will automatically mark it as pending and move it to the bottom of my list. That way I won't have to keep going over the same things that I can't act on or move them with multiple steps.

  5. Create a new list from a task within an already existing list.

    I would like an option, within an existing list, to allow for a task to become a new list on its own. Sometimes a small task grows to become bigger than initially anticipated and then moving the task to a new list with all its sub-tasks, notes and attachments becomes very manual and painstaking. This new option will move this task instantaneously to a list.

  6. Time Clash between tasks solution

    Tell the user of adding a task at a particular time when at the same time there's another task to be completed. just like calling two persons at the same time isn't feasible or giving two exams at the same time etc

  7. DIAGRAMATICAL VIEW FOR BETTER ADJUSTMENT OF OUR TASKS/TODOs

    DIAGRAMATICAL VIEW e.g (VENN DIAGRAM) FOR BETTER ADJUSTMENTS OF OUR TASKS TO ORGANISE THE OVERLAPPING IN A WEEK VIEW. FOR EXAMPLE IF I HAVE A TASK TO READ A BOOK AT 7:00 PM ON COMING FRIDAY, AND THERE ALSO HAD ANOTHER TASK THAT IS GOING TO BE HAPPEN AT SAME DATE AND TIME, IT WOULD SHOW US DIAGRAMATICALLY ITS OVERLAPPING.

  8. Calendar: Allow scrolling through calendar view (desktop)

    When distributing tasks into calendar, I would like to just quickly move to next week/month by gesture. Now you have to always move cursor almost through the whole screen to push small button to go to next or previous and then back to tasks shown in the list on the right.

  9. Back up task Attachments

    It need to back up my attachments per task. I got so many images. I had to reinstall anydo but did not have any attachments in them, It took me 4 days work to add them one by one. And I still did not get all them attached

  10. New feature: Sequencial Task

    Often, we complete a task that will result in another. Ex.:
    1st - Send report to someone.
    2nd - Request feedback on the report the next day.

    Nowadays, it is necessary to complete the task and create a new one. It would be great if there was a button like "Complete+" that, when clicked, would already open a new task. This would help with productivity and prevent me from forgetting to create a follow-up task.

  11. There is an issue happening where when I try to edit something mid way it starts deleting or adding right from the last word. Can you please

    There is an issue happening in any.do after recent update where when I try to edit a reminder at the beginning it starts editing at the end

  16. Any.do tasks should automatically re-order based on time.

    It is tiresome to have to reorganize tasks once I have added times to them, and quite inefficient.

    A desktop global add shortcut would be amazing to have, this is the feature that makes me use ticktick/todoist despite not having a proper my day section. It would be amazing!
