How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. adding tags to a task in whatsapp

    I like the whatsapp integration. It would be great if the bot could recognize hashtags in the text as tags and atribute them to the newly created task. Or, that bot asks about adding tags the same way how it asks about a reminder.

  2. Widget: View Someday Tasks

    I would love to have a widget option to show a list of Someday tasks.

    My ideal use case is this:
    - Have main widget showing all tasks for today (representing my need-to-dos) (already available = great!)
    - Then a second widget view showing the top items marked as Someday (representing my want-to-dos, that are essentially dateless but listed to do in ASAP order).

  3. Any reminder i create for today using Siri should populate under “my day”

    When I say “hey siri set a reminder today for grocery shopping.” That task should automatically be populated in the my day tab

  4. Visual indicator showing tasks that have been added to My Day

    When viewing tasks, there is no quick way to see if a task has been added to "my day" - the only way is to open the task.

    Can you add some kind of visual indicator to tasks (e.g. the my day icon) so that as you scroll through (numerous) tasks you can see what's already been added to your day (and what hasn't)?

    This would make it much easier to 'process' my tasks and facilitates the daily planning process. The My Day feature to plan your day is good but I find that I still end up going through…

    Hi please could you add a full page widget? Using multiple on 1 page wastes space. See screenshot, there’s +3 other tasks not shown, would like to see all on one page. Thanks !

  7. Image clipboard paste onto the tasks

    Anydo should allow users to paste images directly into tasks. Currently, users can only upload images from their hard drive or drag and drop them, which takes a lot of time. Additionally, viewing the images requires downloading them to the hard drive again, which is time-consuming. Users should be able to view the images without having to download them.

    Currently, grocery lists can't be created in the browser app. Also, there are no categories or suggestions in those.

  9. Make Standaardlijst (Default list) an item to choose bij Voorkeursstartschem (preference start screen)

    In the dutch mobile app, I can choose Standaardlijst (default list), that's great. But the next item I can adjust is called Voorkeurstartscherm (preference view when starting the app) and I really would like to choose the Standaardlijst there as well! I can now only choose there between: tasks, agenda, last viewed, My Day.

  10. how about make web service to responsive web design

    Responsive web design is not just for portable device stuff.
    Because, Some The famous apps support the use of their plugins in conjunction with web services.

    For Example, custom frames, The popular plugin of powerful note taking app, Obsidian, allow you to use the desired web services in the right panel.

    ChatGpt or todoist works fine on that panel. But Any.do not yet.

  11. Better premium pop up

    Hello, new user here.

    I would be interested in premium and I notice that when I click on a feature you always display the same "go premium" pop up.

    I clicked on "focus" for a task and I get no explanation what it is or how it could help.
    I click on AI suggest for subtasks, and same.

    Maybe customize the pop-ups to explain a bit/demo the feature. Or give 1 to 3 free credits to experience the feature (Canva does that).

    Here I have to search to see if that feature would be worth oaying and sometimes a little…

  12. sub tasks

    Add due dates to sub tasks.
    I have similar master tasks with sub tasks that can run over a week and I like to batch the similar sub tasks. I would like the ability to set due dates for each sub tasks so Ican work effectively.

    Firstly, I'd like to express my gratitude for creating such a user-friendly and efficient tool. Many of us, including myself and a circle of acquaintances, have seamlessly integrated your application into our daily routines.

    However, there's a small tweak that could significantly enhance our planning experience. A majority of us set aside Sundays to map out our week ahead. But with the current "last 7 days" view, we find ourselves unable to see and plan for the Sunday of the following week. This minor limitation hinders our ability to fully optimize our schedules.

    Need Cron calender-like feature view its very good but very hard to move because I am using anydo premium for 2 years . i like Cron. anyodo android app have the same feature but very bad ui not flexible.

    timeboxing is very important - agenda in a time time-wise
    Cron or google calender have same feature

    The any.do icon being black (or following the automatic theme) makes it hard to see. Ironic given the default light blue would've been perfect.

  18. Longer Time for Tasks

    The current option is only to have tasks with 15-minute timeslots. It would be useful to schedule your tasks when you want to work on them (like an event)—got a report due that day? and you want to work solidly on it for a 1hr, can block out the time.
