How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  2. Keep manual sort order

    I have long lists that are manually sorted. Sometimes, when i do something like change the reminder to the next day, the tasks goes to either the top or bottom of the list. Please keep the tasks in the order in which i set them.

  3. Ability to filter by list when planning My Day

    Be able to filter by list while planning My Day.

    I have a list of repeating tasks I do daily. I would like to be able to filter and select only that list so I can quickly add all those items to my day without having to scroll through all the tasks to find it

    basically, a way I add a label to a task that marks its not important or important

    a second label where you can add urgent or not urgent.

    the result labeling color of the task tile would indicate how important or urgent is o the fly.

  8. My Day Page Reformed Layout

    I would like to request the following features for the My Day View.

    1) That there should be a schedule Timeline Mixed Tasks and Events.
    2) Option to sort and filter by Category/Importance Level.
    3) The Tasks should show in detail the time of the task.
    Just to get the understanding of what I'm looking for please check out the Schedule View on Google Calendar along with Tasks in between events.

    Looking forward for the Best App Out There to Get Even Better!!!

  9. Add and end date for tasks and keep reminders separately

    For most of my projects, I have a bunch of things I have to do before the whole thing is due.

    Alternatively, you should be able to assign reminders to subtasks.

  10. Add 3 levels of task IMPORTANCE, easily visible by brightness/shade of the task tile background

    In addition to tags (which are most useful to assign categories to tasks, i.e. #HOME, #HOBBY etc.), please give the users an ability to mark the IMPORTANCE of tasks. For the sake of not overcomplicating this, it will be enough if you enable the user to pick one of the three IMPORTANCE categories: HIGH or MEDIUM or NORMAL (normal being default). In the dark theme, the HIGH importance tasks would have the brightest background, the MEDIUM ones - a somewhat darker one. In the light theme, you could use a theme-dependent leading colour in 2 hues or give important tasks…

  12. I want to use the same subtask list for multiple tasks

    I am a lawyer and mediator, I use your program with pleasure. I also use the same sub-task list for my tasks, but it is not possible to copy the same sub-task list to another task in the program. I have to re-enter it every time. It wastes a lot of time. Is there a way to do this? Or can you add this to the program?

  13. Subtask Copy and Paste

    I want to use the same subtask list for multiple tasks but it is not possible to copy and paste them all. I have to log in again each time. Is there a way to do this? Or can you add this to the program?

  14. bold, italic, & highlight text

    When adding notes to a tasks and actually even to the heading of the task, it would be great to be able to bold, italic, highlight, strick through text. At the moment I have to resort to adding special characters to separating sections.

    In my opinion I feel like it's important to being able to read your text properly to be more efficient at tasks and part of that is being able to present your text properly.

  16. Shortcut to anydo moment

    The Any.do Moment is the most useful tool for me to have a brief on the new tasks I added.

    Right now I can only reach it through entering the properties area.

    It would be great to have a shortcut in the application, or even better as a widget.

  17. Simplify stuff , stop keeping things so convoluted, see your recent playstore reviews.

    If this app is an Enterprise app then its okay may be, but mostly enterprises don't need such apps as they already have tons of software to mange their workflow mostly coming from Microsoft & others like Jira etc.
    For personal users, this app is too confusing & there is a learning curve, which I don't want to travel for sure.
    No monthly view calendar for personal premium plan, doesn't justify things. Any.do is depending on 3rd party integrations more than creating its own features.
    You have some advantages like whatsapp integration and better reminders, but you lack the simplicity…

    The ability to view an attached image or document as a preview without opening the card is soooo helpful - I'm actually amazed this feature has been passed on before!
