How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Tracking and Reports: Completed tasks report + search

    If your boss asks you for a report on your activities, Any.do would be able to create a report of all the tasks you've completed within a specified timeframe. Hopefully it would also contain statistics like "tasks per day" and "most productive day."

  2. Widget: Add to/ show specific list

    I always use widget for adding new task. But I would like to choose category same time from widget and see only that list.

  3. Tasks: Prevent deleting a task if it still has active subtasks left

    If I have a task that contains subtasks, I should not be able to delete it without a confirmation checking that I'm okay deleting it along with its unfinished subtasks.

  5. Calendar: Add an end date to recurring events

    Allow users to set an end date for recurring tasks to stop reappearing.

  6. Product: Convert tasks to events and vice versa

    It would be great if there was an option to convert tasks into appointments, and vice versa. This would allow users to easily create new appointments out of tasks or to reduce an appointment into a task.

  7. Widget: Weekly/ Monthly/ Yearly View

    Love the new calendar widget, but six rows of dates takes up a lot of valuable screen space! Please consider something more like the calendar view inside the app, with just one week's dates at the top and a list of events and tasks below.

    This feature will continue to nag even if you snoze it. It can be only turned off with confirmation.

  9. Product: Check-boxes for Subtasks

    In Task View, you can not distinguish between tasks and notes. For many entries it is very confusing. A checkbox like in the calendar view would be very helpful here.

  10. Views: Display layers in Grid View

    I've got so many lists that I don't want to see them all staring at me on Main View. I'd like to be able to cluster them into folders (like Evernote's Notebooks) so that I can really see everything on one screen.

  12. Billing: Support Alipay

    Most people in China use Alipay, so it is vey inconvenient that the only option for paying is Paypal. Can you please add an option to pay with Alipay?

  14. Calendar: Allow to drag and drop tasks/ events

    Need to be able to drag and drop todo items in the calendar view like you can in the task view, this would enable you to use the calendar with both appointments and todos much more efficiently.

  16. Product: Print/ export completed tasks by date

    I like to take stock of my past accomplishments to better plan for the future. All you can do now is look at all of your completed items in a list that is not in date order. A pull-down option to either PRINT, or better yet EXPORT, all completed items would be great. Export should support the Excel format. PRINT format should be by Month, then by Date, showing all information contained within that item.

  17. Notes: Add a timestamp

    When adding a new note or adding paragraph within a note it would be good to have a timestamp of the date timestamp automatically added as a subtitle above the note text.

  18. UI: Autosave editing changes

    At the moment, if you are interrupted by anything without saving the text entered, then Any.do will drop anything you've already entered and you'll need to start over again. If you have to check details in another apps you end up loosing text entered so far.

  19. Tasks: Display full title

    When typing in a task, what I've typed is no longer visible a certain amount of characters. I'd like to see the entire task description. The text should be wrapped to display the full length.

  20. Customization: Allow personalization

    I prefer a darker background with light text, but there's currently no theme option like this. I would appreciate customization for the theme options.
