How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  2. Sort newly added task based on the selected sort options

    I can't find logical reason why the newly added tasks are not sorted automatically and you have to manually change Sort type from "time" to "list" and again "time" to do it. Please just implement a small refresh that will do this for us and auto sort the tasks based on the picked criteria in the sort option. For me this is a very annoying con. Everything else is great and I generally am very pleased with the product. Thank you in advance!

  3. Whats up call reminder

    When i add a call reminder green handphone and one click call on it is extremely useful.

    But this doesnt function with whats up integration.

    If i am driving and i want to add a call reminder throught whats up this green handphone doesnt show up in he app so there is no one click in that case.

    I would like to have this

  4. Complete Task Sound

    There needs to be a chime on completion of a task. Its one of the most rewarding things about the system. This is imperative for a task system. If it is of concern for some users, simply have an on/off setting for the whole user. Such a simple addition to make the system alot better

  5. Grocery List: Add quantities

    We tend to buy the same products every (other) time and so I have added standard products to my grocery list which I tick off while shopping and afterwards untick to have my base list available again. What I am really missing is being able to add quantities next to my standard products. For example, I buy often tomatoes but the quantity varies each time according to my recipes. So if I write 8 tomatoes this time I cannot reuse the entry next time but rather have to remove it from the list and add 2 tomatoes for the next…

  6. tag colors

    i bought the premium manly for the colors, to have order in my eyes.
    but i found out that the colors are just a little tiny line in the begining of the task.
    and than i need to remember all the colors and which color is what tag.

    i wish all of the backrounds of each task will colord by the chosen color and that the name of the tag will appear also benith every task.

  7. Sort listing according to Tag, and Time

    Tags are immensely useful. Currently, we can sort the tasks by list or time. Can we consider a combined sort by list + tags, and time + tags? This will empower users to better organize their work.

  8. Smartwatch integration

    Make it possible to use the app via smart watches. At least the reminder function: to be able to receive the reminder notifications on watches like Samsung Galaxy Watch 3.

  9. Grocery list: Manual reordering with drag and drop

    It would be really helpful to be able to drag & drop items in grocery list, so you could manually reorder your list.

    Currently, if you add items not in the specified order, and whole list cant fit into the screen, you need to scroll the list very often. For example when you in a section of a shop, you need to scroll the list multiple times to find which item to pick up next, and repeat this every time when u forgot it.   10. Set reminder details with Google Assistant

    The current Google Assistant integration only allows adding an item to a list, but without any reminder settings. This limits the usefulness of Any.do and makes me revert to using Google's native reminders. I'd like to have additional data passed to Any.do to bring it to feature parity with Google reminders.

    "Hey Google, add a reminder for 7AM tomorrow to build a fort to my fun list." Or whatever similar format would be passed to you. Syntax is less of a problem to adjust for due to limitations you all may have to activate your integration properly.

    You should be able to delete a task without first completing it. I would suggest adding a delete button to the task edit view.

  12. I think the tags should still be visible when the task is done.

    I use the tags to see what is the development area of each task, and I would like to see them even when I've already completed the task.

    I´ll love that I can read all my tasks without a click in each one. Two possibles solutions could be:

    1) Full width - resize column size
    2) Adjust font size

  16. Display the task's LIST during moment

    The tasks that are displayed during the "moment" do not show LIST they are in.
    It is quite common to have generic tasks like "review contract" in 2 or more lists, but when they appear in the "moment" I do not know WHICH one I'm looking at: Is it the "review contract" of "ACME" or of "HOME LEASE"?

  18. Change "Add task" button

    Make the "Add Task" command more obvious. As it stands, the "Add Task" command is just another blue text/hyperlink that isn't entirely obvious.

    By making it into a button, potentially in the bottom right hand corner and/or with an arrow going right, I believe you'll make it more obvious for the user.
