Grocery List: Add quantities
We tend to buy the same products every (other) time and so I have added standard products to my grocery list which I tick off while shopping and afterwards untick to have my base list available again. What I am really missing is being able to add quantities next to my standard products. For example, I buy often tomatoes but the quantity varies each time according to my recipes. So if I write 8 tomatoes this time I cannot reuse the entry next time but rather have to remove it from the list and add 2 tomatoes for the next list. It would be more practical if I could simply keep tomatoes in the list and then choose a different quantity each time.
We have paused the review of this feature, in favor of more critical development work. We will look further into it some time next year.
We appreciate everyone’s feedback!

Pretty simple. being able to quickly add or minus quantities with a + or - button next to the item is pretty necessary when planning weekly meals. Then i could use google home to “Add one more... green apple” and so on

I love, Love, LOVE the Smart Shopping list. It would be great if there were two additional features:
- Ability to make custom categories / edit categories
- To also put a quantity for items -

The grocery list should have an option to either input amount against an item or not to, and if having entered amounts against selected items to indicate a total amount for the grocery list

1. Ability to enter quantities into grocery lists 2. Being able to rename/create our own aisle/section 3. Ability to create a list that is not linked to due dates - like the grocery list but not groceries.

Grocery list items with amounts
The Grocery list should support item amounts somehow (e.g. with a extra input box at the right side for numbers or free text).
"Chocolate 500g" is not recognised as Chocolate anymore and shows up in the section "miscellaneous".
Preferably a ui that let's me add amounts to each item in the list. -

I use the app with my android phone. The intelligent grocery list is very useful. The possibilty to add the amount of an item would be perfect. I often know what I need but I can´t remember the exact amount. And if i add the amount in the current line it shows up in the category "miscellaneous" and by using the phone you can´t write anything in the section "notes".

I agree. Thinking about coming over from the "Our Groceries" app -- lack of being able to indicate quantity I need is a real drawback.

Ability to add amounts to shopping would be great (eg apples 2 or beef mince 500g)

Item, amount, note.
Item is used to sort like frozen, deli, etc. Other fields are reminders. Maybe just a note section as free text -

Quantity needed here as well

I would really like that. I think it also would make sense to have an additional screen if a user wants to add more specific informations about an item. e. g. amount, unit, importance and so on.

I'd be very useful/time-saving for me if a quality was added to each item on the grocery list that represented the # of each item that I need to buy.
Often, it's my wife who writes me a list.
And on paper it's like:
Eggs (4)
Oranges (8)
Ginger (1)
etc.The default would always be (1) but it could be changed. I think you get what I mean.
Currently, I just type in "Oranges 8", but that's slower and nowhere near as sexy as picking "Oranges", then selecting "8".
Thank you!
Keep up the great work guys. This is like magic. -
