How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. "Monthly" Calendar View option

    Add the ability to view all events within a given month on a monthly view, rather than just day, 3 day or weekly. Ex: Google Calendar allows the same options of Day, 3 days and Weekly but also has an additional "Monthly" option which will bring up the entire month calendar and show events on each given day of the month. This allows for better planning on a quicker, more efficient & broader spectrum to see what part of the month you are busiest or have the most free time.   2. Product: Add sleep/ driving/ vacation mode

    Please make it so that we can set "active times" for categories. For example, my "work" category would be active on weekdays from 9 to 5, leading to the app showing me tasks only from that category (or other categories that are also active) at that time in the "all tasks" view and similar. But tasks from a not-active category are not shown.

  4. Product: Focus Mode Notification (end time)

    In Focus Mode, it would be good to have an Alarm Sound when the Focus Timer is complete.
    Currently - It only shows the "Awesome" screen, but there is no sound to draw my attention.

  5. Tasks: Change reminder without tapping on the bell icon

    I review all my "today tasks" and "tomorrow tasks" at the start of each day. It would be great to be able to adjust the due date of a task much more efficiently. I normally do this by dragging and dropping tasks that are "today" to other columns. This can be quite slow and cumbersome especially in the web view (especially when you are managing a huge list like I do). In the view that has all the tasks listed in one long list it would be great to have a column that shows the due date of each task…

  7. Product: Add a budget/ expenses section

    You should add an extra page or something somewhere where we can add and keep track of our daily expenses/budget and bills.

  11. Product: Add a notifications summary

    Sometimes when I'm away from the app I have multiple notifications go by.

    When my phones locked and I slide an alert to open the app it be nice to see a summary of those alerts so I can action them straight away or modify if needed.

    Option to accept/ decline events straight from the app, as well as show a unique icon for the reply status (pending/ answered/ removed).

    I want to be able to finish off the day with a summary moment. It would remind you what you didn't get done and allow you to re-plan anything left uncompleted.

    The ability to see how many days until an event is due would be nice. I like to count the days to my vacation.

  18. Notes: Add a timestamp

    When adding a new note or adding paragraph within a note it would be good to have a timestamp of the date timestamp automatically added as a subtitle above the note text.

  19. Reminder: Open app from pop-up

    When clicking a notification I'd like to have it open the app or leave it the way it is now but add a button to the popup to open the reminder in the app like maybe clicking the title or the bell to open the app.

  20. Sort listing according to Tag, and Time

    Tags are immensely useful. Currently, we can sort the tasks by list or time. Can we consider a combined sort by list + tags, and time + tags? This will empower users to better organize their work.
