How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Set reminder details with Google Assistant

    The current Google Assistant integration only allows adding an item to a list, but without any reminder settings. This limits the usefulness of Any.do and makes me revert to using Google's native reminders. I'd like to have additional data passed to Any.do to bring it to feature parity with Google reminders.

    "Hey Google, add a reminder for 7AM tomorrow to build a fort to my fun list." Or whatever similar format would be passed to you. Syntax is less of a problem to adjust for due to limitations you all may have to activate your integration properly.

  2. Delete incomplete tasks

    You should be able to delete a task without first completing it. I would suggest adding a delete button to the task edit view.

  3. Integration: Tizen OS (Samsung watch)

    It will be nice to get Any.do reminders and manage my lists with tasks in Samsung Galaxy Watch series.
    Samsung has a pretty good IDE to develop apps for TizenOS: https://www.tizen.org/

  4. Complete Task Sound

    There needs to be a chime on completion of a task. Its one of the most rewarding things about the system. This is imperative for a task system. If it is of concern for some users, simply have an on/off setting for the whole user. Such a simple addition to make the system alot better

  5. Tasks: Clear completed task automatically

    When I complete a task, clear it. Move it to history. I can always go to Completed Tasks to bring it back. The old tasks clutter things up. If done people want to feel good about all they’ve completed make an option.

    Why is this request inappropriate? Please explain your logic.

  6. Sort listing according to Tag, and Time

    Tags are immensely useful. Currently, we can sort the tasks by list or time. Can we consider a combined sort by list + tags, and time + tags? This will empower users to better organize their work.

  7. "Monthly" Calendar View option

    Add the ability to view all events within a given month on a monthly view, rather than just day, 3 day or weekly. Ex: Google Calendar allows the same options of Day, 3 days and Weekly but also has an additional "Monthly" option which will bring up the entire month calendar and show events on each given day of the month. This allows for better planning on a quicker, more efficient & broader spectrum to see what part of the month you are busiest or have the most free time.   9. Start and Deadline for a Task

    Please make a from to option. Example: I wanna clean my room frome 10 to 10 30.

    I dont know why this isnt a feature alredy. This is a fundamental practice to organize and plan tasks and events. Just a simpel start and done funktion that also shows up at the calander.

    Hope this comes a real thing soon. It would make Any.do the best organisation app on the markt.

  12. Calendar: Add a monthly/weekly desktop view

    It'd be great if there was an actual full screen month view of the stuff I need to do. Not just a generic date layout up top and then a scroll list of what I need to do on the bottom. I'm talking about a full screen month layout with all day events solid background colors and timed events in just text or something. Even if you just made the top calendar look like the widget you already provide I'd be happier. I'm just very visual and need to see stuff mapped out in advance to wrap my head around…

  14. Reminders: Customize suggestions

    I love when I make a new task, the app suggest me different times for a possible reminder. The problem is this function is kind of useless, because the suggested times are not useful for me. At least there is a little chance that the suggested reminder times are fitting in my agenda.
    Some examples:
    - If I'm working in the office, and at 13:00 I want to make a quick reminder that i have to do one more thing later today. The app suggests 4 or 6 p.m. for reminder, but it is too late for me, because I…

  15. Grocery List: Edit, add and reorder categories

    I need to change some of the headers, add more of my choosing and change their order.

    In a typical grocery store isles are important and they are numbered. So canned goods might be isle 9 or whatever.

    Also when shopping you would want to start at one end of the store and go to the other end.

    So each isle would have a title and a number. That said, perhaps you can see the value of being able to change titles and their positions.

    I would like to be able to color tag events the same way I can tasks. Would allow me to easily tell the difference between personal events and business events.

  17. Widget: Add to/ show specific list

    I always use widget for adding new task. But I would like to choose category same time from widget and see only that list.

  18. Color Tags: Option to reorder

    I love the tags allready!! but please make it possible to order them, alphabeticly and in categories. Now I have tags of all my customers but they are in the order i created the tags. Because i have a lot of customers its hard to find the right one when i want to tag a task.

    But tags are very usefull as proof'n today. A customer called, I searched his tag and I saw all the open to do actions i needed to discuss with him =)
