How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Smart Wear: Support Samsung Wear

    Samsung now uses wear os but its own flavor. Please let us view tasks instead of just add them and make the complications available.

  3. See tags in My Day view, sorted

    I would like to see tags in the My Day view, so I can see the most important things that day. It'd be great if those rose to the top as well. This is how "Important" works in Microsoft To-Do. However, one can't even see the tags in the My Day right now, masking them less useful.

  5. Overdue tasks on Today list

    I’ll love to have a separation on the “Today” list tasks where I can easily distinguish the ones that are overdue from the ones that are still upcoming today.
    For example I had 2 tasks to do in the morning and many in the afternoon, I couldn’t complete the ones in the morning and when I tried to look for them they were in between all the other tasks and hard to find

  6. UX Consistency - Either all actions should save when you click away, or none should. UX is inconsistent across actions currently

    If you type notes in a task then click away, the notes save.
    If you click a tag and then click away, the tag does not save.
    If you start typing a sub task then click away, the subtask saves.

    This behavior causes me to often not commit actions I intended because I'll click somewhere else in the app after performing an action but the app does not commit the action.

  7. desktop global add shortcut

    A desktop global add shortcut would be amazing to have, this is the feature that makes me use ticktick/todoist despite not having a proper my day section. It would be amazing!

  8. My day: Tasks in my day should show the assigned tags

    When i make a task list and assign tags to them (Priority tags) i would like to be able to see those tag colors in the "My day" tab when i'm planning my day.

    This makes it way smoother and easier because i can see in one glance which tasks need to be done asap.

  10. Visual indicator showing tasks that have been added to My Day

    When viewing tasks, there is no quick way to see if a task has been added to "my day" - the only way is to open the task.

    Can you add some kind of visual indicator to tasks (e.g. the my day icon) so that as you scroll through (numerous) tasks you can see what's already been added to your day (and what hasn't)?

    This would make it much easier to 'process' my tasks and facilitates the daily planning process. The My Day feature to plan your day is good but I find that I still end up going through…

  11. Auto Sort

    There needs to be an option to Auto sort the order of reminders by time without having to do it manually. See attachements. Some people might perfer having their reminders stay in the order that they added them but atleast have an option in settings for auto sort by time. I know in Calender view, the reminders do auto sort but Task view is much better becase you see more details of your task.

  13. Please filter search by List

    Can we please filter the search by a spefic list? Right now it searches everything and it is very confusing. I don't think this would be a hard thing to implement and be very useful to everyone. Love the app, use it every day!

  16. Possibility to edit or switch off shortcuts

    I think it should be implemented. I am using polish keyboard for writing polish letters, combination of ALT + S gives you Ś, for example. But when I try to type it in, quick reminder window pops up instead. I cannot see any way to edit shortcuts in Any.do unfortunately.

  17. Tasks: Duplicates alert

    When you create a checklist and enter an item already in the list, it should prompt you that you've already added it and confirm if you still want to add it again.

  18. adding tags to a task in whatsapp

    I like the whatsapp integration. It would be great if the bot could recognize hashtags in the text as tags and atribute them to the newly created task. Or, that bot asks about adding tags the same way how it asks about a reminder.

  19. Turn a task into a subtask (drag and drop)

    sometimes i have a number of related tasks and would like to combine them as subtasks of a main task. I currently have to recreate them as subtasks which is pretty inefficient, i would rather drag and drop the tasks into another task, adding them as subtasks. thanks.
