How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  2. Product: No-sound/ 'vibrate only' mode

    For me sound is annoying and often inconvenient. I prefer vibration only. Can you add a preference of "no sound" or "silent" in the sound preference picker?

  4. Widget: Weekly/ Monthly/ Yearly View

    Love the new calendar widget, but six rows of dates takes up a lot of valuable screen space! Please consider something more like the calendar view inside the app, with just one week's dates at the top and a list of events and tasks below.

  6. Product: Add Grocery icon to widget

    To reach easily to grocery list from widget, I recommend to add an icon next to task and calendar tabs for going through grocery list. It's so wonderful that you add smart grocery list, but it's difficult to reach this list from widget.

  7. Moment: Display Color Tags

    When plan my day, and we have a lot item and tags, it's more difficult identify items tags, because It not appears. It's better if when planning day, every items visibility the tags corresponding. Some case we have same item on different tags.

  9. Customization: Rich Text Options

    If I copy text from an email (not upload a file), I would like the notes to maintain the formatting and include the pictures. I think this is likely hard, as only few programs allow this, but I think it would make my love for this todo list skyrocket. I have tried many different lists, and this one is the most promising. I work at a company where I really need to make the email-to-todo transition as easy as possible. And, the only thing that's stopping that is the lack of rich text/ HTML format for notes.

  10. Product: Disable/ enable sync

    for people who don't use this app in their computers or laptops ,sync off option will reduce app usage, memory use and Internet use .. so the app will be more efficient .

    this is important for low random access memory devices , weak device and also for poor people who don't have unlimited internet plan.

    I hope we can have this option

  12. do@any.do: Email tasks with subtasks

    Using any.do for work projects, I think a great new feature would be the ability to add subtasks as well as the ability to share the task with others when creating tasks via email. The CC field of the email could be used for adding email addresses to share the task with, and for creation of subtasks.. perhaps the use of the + symbol preceding a line of text like the following:
    +subtask 1
    +subtask 2
    +subtask 3

    ..and so on.

    With the work I do, a lot of the projects require the same tasks to be completed.. so adding…

  14. UI: Tapping outside a new task automatically adds it

    I'm used to clicking outside of the type box whenever I'm finished typing something, but if I do that with Any.do, it deletes what I wrote! It's super annoying having to retype it again...

  18. Do@any.do: Option to send tasks from different emails

    Create an inbox function on any.do to email list items to from any email client.Then you are able to forward emails from work/home to add to your lists.

  20. Ui: Improve date and time interface (text input)

    Instead of scrolling could we just input manually by typing the desired date and time? At the moment on my phone when I add a task I have to spend a while scrolling through times and dates before I get the one I want. This is especially an issue when I want to put long term tasks in (e.g. review a direct debit, renew my passport etc.)
