How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. Recurring

    Recurring tasks could have a mode or button yhst allows the task to reset with every occurrence, so each day if I want to do 10 situps, wash the dishes, and eat some cheese ( things I dont actually put in a todo list but just as examples) then each day I can tick them off - or at least reset the subtasks.
    At the moment, the subtasks that are completed remain s completed with each repeated reminder.
    This makes the recurrent task a recurrent reminder to do a task with partially completed subtasks.

    The actual tasks work as expected…

  2. Filter accessible on main screen

    Filter accessible on main screen

    The filter button is in a submenu, rather than accessible by pressing the All Tasks title or similar.

    There seems to be room for an arrow to bring up tags specially of the button to set up integrations weee removed which would seem to be an occasional task rather than a regular one. Unless I am missing something. But I don't use it at all amd ifnIndid wouldnt I want tonset it up and leave it. The integrations button seems more informational that actionable.

    But I want to access the tag filter but don't because…

  3. Calander View for Tasks

    I need to know a top view of my tasks by seeing a monthly view on calander so that i can tell people i am free on this day but in any.do its difficult to see calander and there is no option at all
    If this feature not there i might dont buy the premium next year and i have to stop using this and move to other application i am waiting for this feature from 6 months still not avilable 😤

    Bigger Text. The text in the Widget is too Small. The "make the text bigger from the phone settings" response is The Worst and it doesn't work Well. The text from the phone Will Be Giant while the text from the app will still be much smaller :| That response that you gave is the worst.

  5. Moves ads from menu to somewhere where it has less impact on screen real estate

    Positive incentives (adding functionality) are better than negative (paying to get rid of annoyances). The "Go Premium" and "Create Workspace" buttons take up 20% of the sidebar on my laptop screen. I deleted a workspace I didn't have access to, without knowing what I was losing, just to reduce it from 25%.

  8. Stop daily recurring tasks from showing up on Moment

    Please enable an option to stop Moment from picking up daily recurring tasks. I’m already doing them daily, I don’t really need to be prompted. It sucks up half of the time it takes to go through my moment

    I’d like to be able to pin or rearrange my daily recurring tasks to show automatically on the top of the day. Also, keeping the same assigned sequence.

  10. Allow for more frequent reminders for recurring tasks, with more customization.

    I have to check specific things multiple times every hour. I'd like to be able to make recurring tasks have reminders every 15-30 minutes, every hour, two hours, twice or thrice a day, etc...
    As it stands I can only set recurring tasks to 'daily' reminder. So I guess I have to create many daily recurring tasks set for different times of day with a daily recurrence?

  13. Automatically sort completed tasks to the bottom of My Day list

    When working in the My Day view and marking a task as done, having the option to automatically move tasks marked as "done" to the bottom of the list, so you can easily view all remaining tasks that need to be completed for the day, while also being able to view items have been accomplished (visual motivation on what you have gotten done for the day).

    I am going to suggest something that I imagine is easy to implement and at least it would solve some discomfort for me.

    What do I mean by the title?
    What I propose is to have the option of enabling tasks of conditional completion (especially in the 7-day list), that is:

    Print spreadsheets. (Task 1)

    Take spreadsheets (Task 2)

    Contract Streaming subscription (Task 3)

    Where "Task 2" is subject to one more day than "Task 1", and "Task 3" to two more days than "Task 1"

    I want to use the same subtask list for multiple tasks but it is not possible to copy and paste them all. I have to log in again each time. Is there a way to do this? Or can you add this to the program?

  16. I want to use the same subtask list for multiple tasks

    I am a lawyer and mediator, I use your program with pleasure. I also use the same sub-task list for my tasks, but it is not possible to copy the same sub-task list to another task in the program. I have to re-enter it every time. It wastes a lot of time. Is there a way to do this? Or can you add this to the program?

  17. Add 3 levels of task IMPORTANCE, easily visible by brightness/shade of the task tile background

    In addition to tags (which are most useful to assign categories to tasks, i.e. #HOME, #HOBBY etc.), please give the users an ability to mark the IMPORTANCE of tasks. For the sake of not overcomplicating this, it will be enough if you enable the user to pick one of the three IMPORTANCE categories: HIGH or MEDIUM or NORMAL (normal being default). In the dark theme, the HIGH importance tasks would have the brightest background, the MEDIUM ones - a somewhat darker one. In the light theme, you could use a theme-dependent leading colour in 2 hues or give important tasks…

  18. Add and end date for tasks and keep reminders separately

    For most of my projects, I have a bunch of things I have to do before the whole thing is due.

    Alternatively, you should be able to assign reminders to subtasks.

  19. My Day Page Reformed Layout

    I would like to request the following features for the My Day View.

    1) That there should be a schedule Timeline Mixed Tasks and Events.
    2) Option to sort and filter by Category/Importance Level.
    3) The Tasks should show in detail the time of the task.
    Just to get the understanding of what I'm looking for please check out the Schedule View on Google Calendar along with Tasks in between events.

    Looking forward for the Best App Out There to Get Even Better!!!
