How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. Add widgets features for Windows and MacOS

    Please add Any.do app to Microsoft Store. And add widgets feature to Windows and MacOS widget. I want to see these reminders which have no deadline and upcoming calendar events from my desktop (via Windows/MacOS Widget)

  3. tag colors

    i bought the premium manly for the colors, to have order in my eyes.
    but i found out that the colors are just a little tiny line in the begining of the task.
    and than i need to remember all the colors and which color is what tag.

    i wish all of the backrounds of each task will colord by the chosen color and that the name of the tag will appear also benith every task.

  4. Show subtasks in main list

    Many people ask for this, any.do just added a little icon. But some of us power users need to see our subtasks in the main list to quickly glance. Please reconsider Any.do and let us see subtasks in main list, collapsible would be amazing.

  5. Desktop Mac OS app not usable in narrow breakpoint

    I need the desktop app to be usable when it's in a narrow window size. Currently in a narrow breakpoint, the right panels are simply inaccessible/unusable.

  6. Allow personal users to remove/disable workspace

    I am a personal user and only use anydo to sync my shopping list with my partner, and the occasional task for myself. Since the last update I now get continuous prompts to use workspace and is at the top of every page now, but I don't want it and will never want it.

    Please allow personal users to be able to opt out of workspace

  7. Showing list above tasks eating up space and ruining easy of view

    Hi,

    This was introduced a few days ago. Now, on the view "All my tasks" sorted by time, each task has a new line above it refering to the list it belongs to. For example:

    My lists > personal
    Write to any.do support
    <time scheduling>

    This aditional line eats up a lot of space, adding scrolls to the view.
    The text "My list > " repeats along the screen everywhere, ruining the clear summary view we had before.

    Please consider removing that line or at least using a smaller and sorther text within the task line.

  8. Repeat task on week number

    Repeat taske based on the week of the month, for example the first Monday, or third Wednesday etc

  9. Show Tag Color in Tasks in My Day, Also make Compact View of My Day

    In My Day, why is the interface different from all my tasks or list tasks

    the issues in my day tasks :

    • It doesn't show tag color assigned to the task in the list

    • the task list is not compact just like we can make it compact in other lists

  10. Delete incomplete tasks

    You should be able to delete a task without first completing it. I would suggest adding a delete button to the task edit view.

  11. Tasked marked "today" when doing your moment should be automatically added to My Day

    When doing my Any.do Moment, if I choose "Today" for a task, it should automatically add the task to My Day.

  13. Set reminder details with Google Assistant

    The current Google Assistant integration only allows adding an item to a list, but without any reminder settings. This limits the usefulness of Any.do and makes me revert to using Google's native reminders. I'd like to have additional data passed to Any.do to bring it to feature parity with Google reminders.

    "Hey Google, add a reminder for 7AM tomorrow to build a fort to my fun list." Or whatever similar format would be passed to you. Syntax is less of a problem to adjust for due to limitations you all may have to activate your integration properly.

  14. Grocery list: Manual reordering with drag and drop

    It would be really helpful to be able to drag & drop items in grocery list, so you could manually reorder your list.

    Currently, if you add items not in the specified order, and whole list cant fit into the screen, you need to scroll the list very often. For example when you in a section of a shop, you need to scroll the list multiple times to find which item to pick up next, and repeat this every time when u forgot it.   15. Eisenhower matrix grid

    If you can allow users to further put in the to-do tasks in the grid once created so they can prioritize and this is the only feature missing

  17. Expand natural language options

    Please expand the natural language ideas. I appreciate that there are a few things that can be done, however there is so much value in natural language input.

    Using a prompt like:
    Call John tomorrow at 9:15 /work #calls

    Is great for setting a reminder, assigning to a list and a tag. Thank you, it's helpful.

    Please consider adding more options to give options for recurring tasks for example:

    Call John every tuesday at 10:30am
    Call John on the 2nd tuesday of the month
    Send John a birthday card on march 2nd each year
    Water neighbors yard every morning at…

  18. Ability to Turn Off Smart Type in Windows App

    Add the setting to Turn Off Smart Type in the Windows App as can be done in the Android App. Some of us never use it and it just makes it more difficult to add a task since you have to undo the smart typing it does. Thank you

  19. sub tasks

    Add due dates to sub tasks.
    I have similar master tasks with sub tasks that can run over a week and I like to batch the similar sub tasks. I would like the ability to set due dates for each sub tasks so Ican work effectively.
