How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Add a refresh button to Android's widget

    Currently, the widget get automatically updated every X minutes. This causes the following bug:

    Scenario:
    1. See that the widget's tasks are up-to-date (hereinafter "first snapshot" of tasks).
    2. Enter the app, and make a change (e.g. mark a task as completed).
    3. Exit the app and review the widget.

    Expected:
    1. The updated list of tasks is being displayed.

    Actual:
    1. First Snapshot of tasks is still being diaplayed.

    The way other companies solved such an issue, is to add a refresh button to the top row or the widget.

  2. Enable automatic renewal and charging for Premium annual payment

    I thought this was previously an option. At the very least, give notice that an annual Premium payment will soon. I was fortunate to be in a location that allowed time and access to process an annual payment. It would have been incredibly difficult had premium functions quit without notice when I could not quickly pay the annual amount.

  3. Guest contributions to the lists

    The idea here is when you have a to-do list which should be completed by my many people who are not Anydo users. The suggestion is to allow lists link-sharing for guests so they can add/edit/tick etc..

  5. Why can't I drag and drop my uncompleted tasks onto a day of my callendar?

    Hello, please see image.

    I just tried to drag one of my uncompleted tasks onto my calendar on the web app and it appears this is not a feature. Could you make it easier for me to plan ahead using the app by making this possible?

    I predominantly use Any.Do to plan out multiple weeks or months ahead, and I find difficulty planning/rearranging tasks for the year.

  6. Reminders

    I like to be able to set a Recurrent Reminder for a Task or Event for specific days of the week, For example, for the days that I am at work.

    It would look something like this:

    Recurrence:

    Weekly: Tu, Wed, Thu, Fri

    It is very tedious to have to create the same Task/Event for every single day of the week I would like to set the reminder for, in order to be able to make it a recurrent one.

  9. List selection Improvement

    when i press create a task button , it pop out a window where all fields have to be filled and List of List are on the default one .

    i suggest to put the default list to be automatically changed to the one which you are opening at the current moment ( not the one set in the default settings )

  10. Change complication on Apple Watch to icon with round progress bar of completed today’s tasks

    It would be perfect if like in Todoist it was Complication on the Apple Watch the icon of Any.do with round progress bar of completed today’s tasks. It would be more comfortable

    Desktop software should be able to access google contacts, so that the "Call" feature that fetches contact details in mobile phone, should reflect the same in desktop software

  12. Need A Short Cut To Move An Existing Task To Top Of List

    Currently the only way to move an existing task in Android as well as in Windows is to drag it up the list and drop it at the top of a list. But in both cases it is time consuming and sometimes tricky to get it to stick where I want it. And often times it fails to stick and reverts back down in the list and I have to start all over. So a short cut called "Move To Top Of List" would extremely useful!

  17. Recurring Reminder for same task

    For example :

    I want to send an information to a client on Thursday. So I set the reminder as Thursday.
    But it would be better if I can also put a notification for 1 day before.I can prepare the information on Wednesday night.

  19. List must be set to the last previous one , when creating new task

    When Creating New Task , I highly recommend to set the LIST to the last previous one assigned when i created a task, not the default one.
    or make a button to choose between " default list " , or " previous list " when creating new task
