How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Moment: Incorporate local weather forecast

    Would be great to have option to display the local weather forecast on our lists when set to date view. Weather would also be a handy addition to Moment.

  2. Grocery List: Check/ uncheck items

    An option to make grocery lists into checklists: You should be able to set all the items you want on your list, and then just checkmark them when you've bought them, and uncheck them once you need to buy them again. You would add the items once, and then each week only choose the items that are relevant without creating a new grocery list each week.

  4. Product: Print/ export completed tasks by date

    I like to take stock of my past accomplishments to better plan for the future. All you can do now is look at all of your completed items in a list that is not in date order. A pull-down option to either PRINT, or better yet EXPORT, all completed items would be great. Export should support the Excel format. PRINT format should be by Month, then by Date, showing all information contained within that item.

  5. Tasks: Complete from 'edit' view

    There should be a way to complete a task while you have it open and are looking at its details.

  6. Views: Display layers in Grid View

    I've got so many lists that I don't want to see them all staring at me on Main View. I'd like to be able to cluster them into folders (like Evernote's Notebooks) so that I can really see everything on one screen.

  7. Moment: End of day option

    I want to be able to finish off the day with a summary moment. It would remind you what you didn't get done and allow you to re-plan anything left uncompleted.

  8. Reminders: Display details (notes, sub tasks, attachments)

    It would be very convenient to be able to open or view the details (notes, sub tasks, attachments) of an appointment upon receiving the reminder for it.

  9. Product: Add a budget/ expenses section

    You should add an extra page or something somewhere where we can add and keep track of our daily expenses/budget and bills.

  10. Calendar: Update events status from the app (accept/deny)

    Option to accept/ decline events straight from the app, as well as show a unique icon for the reply status (pending/ answered/ removed).

  12. Customization: Allow personalization

    I prefer a darker background with light text, but there's currently no theme option like this. I would appreciate customization for the theme options.

  13. Product: Add routines/habits

    Morning routines. You can create a list of 3-5 to dos, such as exercise, eat breakfast, shower. Let the user specify how long each task take. Let the user define times for each task in the routine. Then let the user say when the routine starts.

  14. Tasks: New and overdue seperation (All list)

    it will be good if there is a "new" and "old" icon front of the task textes in todays list. i want to see at one look which task is new. thank you for developing the best todo app

  15. Moment: Show subtasks/ notes

    I have an item when planning my day which I'd like to look at to see notes etc, but all I can do is schedule, done or delete. Edit ability would be helpful

  16. Tasks: Display full title for tasks and subtasks on mobile

    When typing in a task, what I've typed is no longer visible a certain amount of characters. I'd like to see the entire task description. The text should be wrapped to display the full length.

    The desktop allows viewing the entire title now :) 

    On mobile we're saving real-estate for optimized display but might look into further modifications in the future.

  20. Product: Add sleep/ driving/ vacation mode

    Please make it so that we can set "active times" for categories. For example, my "work" category would be active on weekdays from 9 to 5, leading to the app showing me tasks only from that category (or other categories that are also active) at that time in the "all tasks" view and similar. But tasks from a not-active category are not shown.
