How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. Integrations: Add a recurrence option to Zapier

    Add the ability to set Tasks as Recurring from Zaps Google sheet Columns (1 column to allow recurring and another to say every year/month/day) I have many tasks that I add using zapier integration but the integration does not support recurring and I have to go to each task individually and delete reminder then create a new recurring one which is time consuming...

  2. Show subtasks in main list

    Many people ask for this, any.do just added a little icon. But some of us power users need to see our subtasks in the main list to quickly glance. Please reconsider Any.do and let us see subtasks in main list, collapsible would be amazing.

  3. Larger task pannel in DT

    When viewing the list of tasks in DT - the tasks are displayed in a relatively short column. Therefore I can only view 5-6 tasks in the column viewport.

    There is plenty of screen real estate . You can move the UI control sitting above the task column and stretch the column to the full height of the screen, thus providing a much better view of all the pending tasks

  4. Different event times and reminder times

    When I write down the time of the event I don’t want it erased because I write down a different reminder time. This is extremely frustrating and I’m surprised I haven’t decided to learn a new app. Multiple reminders or location reminders wouldn’t hurt either.

  5. Reminder time vs event time

    When I write the time off the event, it shouldn’t be erased because I make a reminder for a different time. I need to be reminded before the event. Its extremely frustrating! I might decide to learn a new app if this isn’t fixed. Multiple reminders isn’t a bad idea either.

  6. UI: Prevent task reminder from interrupting other actions (camera recording for instance)

    Prevent the app from generating reminders whilst the user is performing actions such as using the keyboard or the Camera application.

    I've had several instances where a reminder has interrupted my typing, or stopped a video recording (sometime during a critical moment!). I really love the reminder feature but it could just calm down while I'm doing other things first :P

  7. Show two lists side by side

    On the Mac app, I would like my default view to show two separate lists: "Personal", and "Work" - showing them side by side, without using the right-most block to show the calendar

  10. Moment: visual day schedule

    This might help a lot but maybe lots of work. During the moment, allow for drag and drop of the tasks into a grid of the day. Maybe users could choose either the tradional or drag-drop method

  11. Moment: Add a follow-up Moment

    It would be good to have a mid-day followup moment. Someone suggested end-of day, but my idea is that it's middle of the day and sort of a reminder.

  12. Please filter search by List

    Can we please filter the search by a spefic list? Right now it searches everything and it is very confusing. I don't think this would be a hard thing to implement and be very useful to everyone. Love the app, use it every day!

  13. Edit Multiple tasks on mobile

    I think I would useful to select actions to multiple tasks on mobile. Web service is useful but cant be performed on the go.

  14. Add top graph complication on Apple Watch with date and schedule

    I would be very happy if it was possible to add top graph complication on Apple Watch, the date in the round, the schedule on the top, click it then display the calendar events and tasks, just like Fantastical2. thanks

  15. Allow task and calendar lists to be expanded on website view to see longer task descriptions.

    When viewing Tasks in list view or tasks and calendar in the Calendar view, allow the dialog boxes to be widened so more details can be visible. I'm working using a web browser and there is a lot of room on the screen but the boxes cannot be widened.

  16. system should know Due Sat 23:00hrs means task is due Saturday 11pm

    I do send tasks via whats app with due dates and time but the system doesn't recognize it
    Mon Tue Wed Thur Fri Sat Sun I suggest that the system is able to know such are days of the week
    eg

  18. google contacts

    Desktop software should be able to access google contacts, so that the "Call" feature that fetches contact details in mobile phone, should reflect the same in desktop software

  19. List must be set to the last previous one , when creating new task

    When Creating New Task , I highly recommend to set the LIST to the last previous one assigned when i created a task, not the default one.
    or make a button to choose between " default list " , or " previous list " when creating new task

  20. Give the possibility to insert also endind time of a task, so that after you did it you can also track how much time you spent on that
