How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Recurring menu dan hide completed task

    i want "recurring menu" when i create a task for the first time. so i doesnt need to edit the task again to put recurring option. And please add option to hide completed task.

  3. Reminder making should be easier, I often have top put in time 3 times based on if it's recurring.

  6. Integration of Strides

    I would be happy if there was an integration of the Strides app. Of course, it would be even better if I could set and track goals and habits properly right here at any.do

  7. Back up task Attachments

    It need to back up my attachments per task. I got so many images. I had to reinstall anydo but did not have any attachments in them, It took me 4 days work to add them one by one. And I still did not get all them attached

  8. Pending

    I would like to be able to swipe a task have have the option to select "pending". This will automatically mark it as pending and move it to the bottom of my list. That way I won't have to keep going over the same things that I can't act on or move them with multiple steps.

  9. Save a screenshot as a task directly from the share button of my phone.

    A picture is with a thousand words. If I share an image from the web or another app, the picture serves as my reminder to do something.

  10. Grocery lists: allow auto catagorise when there are quantities given

    If I add lemons to a grocery list it correctly lists it under "fruits and veg" but if I want to remind myself how many to get then it doesn't I've tried "lemons, 10" "10 lemons", "lemons (10 large)". I suggest anything after a comma or in brackets is ignored along with numbers at the start of an item for purposes of auto categorise.

  11. assign tasks to tags and lists via the task creation input on web

    you can type # or / in the ios app to add a task to a list or tag group. I heavily use the webapp and have basically stopped using lists and tags because its so annoying to have to go add them after the task was created

  12. Settings option to turn off timestamp

    I rarely need or want to set a specific time of day to perform or have a task completed by. But every time I make new entries, it defaults to a time and then I have to manually go into each new task to switch off the timestamp.

    Would really like a master “Timestamp Off” switch in the Settings so that new entries don’t have a time, but of course if I decide I want to set a time I can still go in and edit as normal. This option would save me a lot of redundant time switching times…

  14. Add Task analytics

    Add task analytics like waterdo app. There are very few apps that lets you see in which category you are completing most tasks and perhaps even show us at what time.

    Checking off tasks is useless unless it's tracked.

    Also a daily reminder to review the tasks. Basically copy all the good features of waterdo app. I almost bought it but got disappointed by its UI.

    UI is your strong area. Now back it up with even more useful features

  15. Recurrency

    It would be good to add recurrence, for example: on Wednesdays take out trash and to be able to cross it but get it again next Wednesday and so on for other routines we might have (cleaning routine, morning or night routine, etc)

  17. Reminders: "This evening" reminder for Web/Desktop

    For app users, there's an "this evening" button when you try to add a reminder to a to-do item (other options include "later today", "tomorrow", "next week", "someday"). However, for web users, the "this evening" option doesn't exist. Could we make this available for web-users?

  18. Personal Tasks: Improve website sharing on Android

    When you share a website to any.do on Android, the URL of the website is made the title of the new task. The title is not clickable in the task. It would be better to put the URL in the notes area of the task, so it is clickable, and use the title of the website page as the title of the task.

  20. Product: Show Mac Os "Services" in Mac Os menu

    What: the menu bar should contain the menu item "Services", with a list of relevant Mac Os X services
    Why: those services are used in local workflows. Example:
    - select some text in the app, the services that are related to text are now available, so i can send that text to a different app (eg a scratchpad, or send that to a terminal)
    - with Shortcuts, it is possible to create shortcuts that can then be triggered in services. What's more, those shortcuts can have global hotkeys associated to them. But if the menu bar does not contain the…
