How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  2. Smart type

    When i type a task followed by Smart type reminder such as day and time. The reminder is set, but the time and day are displayed along with the task in the list. This wasnt their in the previous version. How to avoid that ?

  3. Any.do tasks should automatically re-order based on time.

    It is tiresome to have to reorganize tasks once I have added times to them, and quite inefficient.

  4. There is an issue happening where when I try to edit something mid way it starts deleting or adding right from the last word. Can you please

    There is an issue happening in any.do after recent update where when I try to edit a reminder at the beginning it starts editing at the end

  5. New feature: Sequencial Task

    Often, we complete a task that will result in another. Ex.:
    1st - Send report to someone.
    2nd - Request feedback on the report the next day.

    Nowadays, it is necessary to complete the task and create a new one. It would be great if there was a button like "Complete+" that, when clicked, would already open a new task. This would help with productivity and prevent me from forgetting to create a follow-up task.

  6. Add Birthday reminder

    Add the functionality of automatic reminders about contacts’ birthdays. To avoid using third party applications for this.

    Or, even better, automatically create a task (with a reminder) - “Wish Mr. John a happy birthday!”

  8. Tekrarlayan Etkinlikler/Görevler

    Uygulama yapılacak listesi olarak görevini fazlasıyla yerine getiriyor ancak uygulamayı alışkanlık takibi için kullanacak olanlar için ya da aynı zaman dilimi içerisinde ilerleyen süreçte de aynı etkinliği yapacak olan kişiler için bir tekrarlayan etkinlik özelliği gelmesi gerekiyor. Örneğin kitap okuma alışkanlığı kazanmak isteyen biri bunu takvime 1 kere girmeli ve sonrasında tekrar eden etkinlik olarak işaretleyip açılacak ekranda hangi günlerde bu etkinliği tekrar etmek istediğini seçebilmeli. Böyle bir özellik gelirse uygulamaya çok şey katabilir.

  10. Alphabetical sort - I would upgrade to premium if you included this

    You've only had customers ask for this since 2017. I can't believe that its that difficult to do. I would even pay more (upgrade) if you included it in the premium version as I'm sure a lot of other people might.

  11. Filter / Sort the Suggested Tasks in the Calendar View

    Hi guys - I love the new My Calendar view - thanks so much for this, it's amazing!

    My request is about the "Unscheduled Tasks" view on the right. I have a lot of unscheduled Tasks, as I keep them in a kind of "backlog" status. I keep them unscheduled because otherwise I just end up setting a date, never getting to them and then having to bump them out into the future again. Because of this, the "Suggested Tasks" list isn't very useful to me, because it has things from ALL my lists, including all these backlog items. It…

  14. Create Task / Subtask templates

    In my personal life I have quite a few tasks that contain multiple subtasks. Being able to create a template that I can easily slot in on a day to complete this task would make it easier than having to re-write the 12+ subtasks for the multiple tasks I have going on.

  15. Tag auti save

    When applied a tag to a task, you have to click "save" while other changes tova task are auto saved. It's a redundancy.

    Hopefully there could be an companion app made for Huawei Watch running HarmonyOS like Huawei Watch 3/4 to check the tasks noted from the phone

  17. Lists: Improve "move to" screen

    In the web-app for example, at the moment, when moving a task to a list I have to click a "lozenge" style box and I get a box pop-up with scrollable options.

    There is no way to search this box for specific items, no way to sort the items either.

    Also, the space used is wasteful and I imagine a better system might be to maintain the style of choosing a list from a collection of lozenge style elements, that way seeing all the available choices rather than having to scroll.

  18. Reminders: Override silent mode

    This app is useless to me if notification sounds do not override a silenced system. I need to turn my ringer and other app notifications off during the workday, but certainly still need this app to make a notification sound to grab my attention to the reminder I set.

    It's unfathomable that this app doesn't do this by default---I'm ready to cancel my premium subscription over such a gross oversight.

  20. Lists: Allow importing to shopping lists

    Shopping lists should allow you to import a list of items like with the regular to do lists, or there should be an allowance to have regular lists converted into shopping lists. Cheers
