How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Recurring tasks

    It would be useful if an existing task for a specific date could be changed to « recurring » when I find I cannot get it done on that day. At present, its seems tasks can be made « recurring » only when first created.

    There's already an option to change the recurrence or change from a one time reminder to recurring 🤓

    Just tap/click the time and date and alter/delete per your requirements.

  2. Product: Allow to turn off auto-set reminders

    please give the option for me, the user, to decide whether or not i want the time/alarm reminder as default every time i create a task. i prefer the old version where i set my own alarm only when i want to. the current version is annoying because for every task i create the alarm is turned on as default, i’d have to click on it again to turn off the alarm, every time!

  4. Kanban Implementation

    I use Any.do now for a very long time to track almost every kind of tasks.
    I use it for my Youtube project, for my privat To'Do's, for my work or anything else.

    BUT sometimes you've got a "task" which is a bit bigger then usually. Let's say you're working on a bigger project for your garden, or anything else. A big Task with let's say 7 Sub-Tasks.

    So you start with you project und get the first things done, but u get reminded every day, that you have this task on your todo list, and actually you're already started…

  6. Make subtasks reorganizable

    When entering subtasks, you type them in the order you think of them. Would like to reorganize so subtasks can be organized in the chronological order you'd like to complete them in.

    We already have support for changing the order of subtasks. You can drag and drop them the same way you would for tasks! :)

  8. Put a red circle around today’s date

    It’s never clear at a glance what the actual date is today. There’s that little black box at the bottom, yes, but a simple red circle around the actual date today makes it easy reference to see where you are today whilst keeping your eye on the actual monthly view instead of having to keep glancing to the bottom of the screen to reference the date today. Also when you swipe to another month and then swiping back to this actual month, a red circle around today’s date makes it easier to identify the month you need to stop swiping.…

    Our web/desktop calendar allows dragging and dropping events 🤓 On the mobile apps, you can long press and drag through the calendar to create an event for a specific time frame!

  10. Provide full landscape support - especially for tablet users with keyboards

    Fix Task Details so that it shows as landscape view while using a Samsung Tab S10+ with OEM keyboard attached. While at it, provide FULL LANDSCAPE SUPPORT throughout the app for keyboard tablet users.

  11. Use AI to schedule tasks in calendar.

    For example, I can have the AI to automatically schedule one task to be done each weekdays after work. It can schedule my tasks based on my trends of when I complete the task.

  12. Calendar: color intensity

    It would be great if I could see my events with stronger colors to be able to differentiate them. Or if I could decrease the opacity.

  13. Recurring tasks - in the web and not only in mobile

    Hi,
    There's no option to create a new recurring task in the web. It works only in the mobile app.
    You can edit a recurring task, after it's created, but not create a new one.

  14. Avoid adding all the tasks added to TODAY's task - Have a common inbox to other tasks

    If I add any task to any list it is adding it automatically to today's list. Please avoid adding the tasks to todays task unless it is mentioned in the time. Have a common inbox to maintain other tasks.

    It is messing up the whole today's schedule. Some people want to add a 1line note or idea in a separate list. Even that is going to the today's schedule which is really frustrating.

    Labeling, Dating and choosing the correct list with "shortcuts" from task naming like in Todoist.
    For example:

    "Sending a message to omer the COO about the supply on the 19.11.25 #low_energy #phone [Business]"

    Will add the task "sending a message to omer the COO" with a reminder on the 19/11/25, with labels low_energy and phone and will add it to the list business.

    Hopefully will work from all platforms and even the whatsapp bot

  17. Full week view on Web

    Please provide a Web view to see week view for all days tasks in one page. Currently I can see the tasks for one day, or the tasks for next 7 days but in a row. It dosent show a view of all days in one page like a calendar. (Week view expected)

  19. Display Category next to task when sorted by time. Display time next to task when sorted by category.

    When I work from my time sorted list, I'd like to see the categories with optional sort of category within major time (today, tomorrow, etc.). If I work from my category sorted list, I'd like them sorted by time so Today's show first.

  20. Allow users to change their email

    I login to Any.do using my google account. I recently changed my primary email address on google, and I can no longer login to my Any.do account using google. It would be great if you could allow users to change their registered email address.
