How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  4. 'my day' and 'next 7 days' should be in sync + notes on calendar

    1. i just realised that the 'today' task in 'next 7 days' doesnt appeared the 'my day' task, it would be great if the team make it in sync

    2. i highly suggest for having notes on calendar, its easy to view what's happening during that day for a monthly planner person like me

    3. (can be in premium) It's good to have a habit tracker with data (eg. table data that shows on which day we actually accomplish it)

  5. Subtasks - 2 issues to fix

    1) Subtasks should also be cleared with phone shaking

    2) Automatically save Subtasks instead of waiting for user to press save (and if user toggles with other applications sometimes Subtasks get deleted)

  7. My Days: Sync tasks to calendar

    If I add something to My Day, I want it to show up in the calendar view. I like to add everything to my day, then go to the calendar view to drag them to the time I want to work on them. But I currently have to make them due that day in order for them to appear on the calendar.

  8. Manually Retrigger Reminder/Notification for Mobile (Android)

    Add an option to individual tasks to manually re-trigger the reminder notification. I am occasionally "swiping away" or clearing notifications from the notification bar in my Android device and accidentally swipe away an Any.Do task notification for a task that I had not completed. Allowing a manual re-trigger to reinstate the notification would be incredibly useful.

    Alternatively, add the option to turn on an "are you sure?" confirmation when swiping away the notification.

  9. Integrations: Google marketplace for google calendar sidebar

    I want to have Any.do tasks to be added in the google calendar view. (like monday and other task manager apps)
    so i can also hold-click & drag the tasks i added in any.do directly to my google calendar if i want..

  10. Product: list of items found when searching

    It would be great that anytime I do a search, the list of items found still available after I select one of the items and make a change. Why? Because many times I've to make changes on more than one of those items found.

  11. Title of list

    When I had this app on my android device I could sort the tasks by lists, the title of the list would be there also. On this device I can’t seem to sort it so the title of the list is on top, so to dividing the different tasks!

  12. Any.do Moment needs to include scheduled events

    You need to see the list of scheduled events for the day and the following days that week along side when you are trying to schedule when you are doing the task list during your any.do

  15. Change "Add task" button

    Make the "Add Task" command more obvious. As it stands, the "Add Task" command is just another blue text/hyperlink that isn't entirely obvious.

    By making it into a button, potentially in the bottom right hand corner and/or with an arrow going right, I believe you'll make it more obvious for the user.

  16. Notification/Reminder settings per list.

    I would really like to have different notification settings per list. For instance: A high priority list that pushes the reminders to Whatsapp and a few lower priority lists that would just send casual notifications.

    I would suggest to have a mini youtubeplayer (also for other platforms like vimeo and other file formats) in it, so you can watch the whole video within the app.

  18. Subtask Makeover

    Make subtasks more obvious. I want to be able to create each subtask, put them under the overarching/main task, drag them so they're in the correct order, and be able to see the subtasks right underneath the main task, instead of just that line with the number at the end of it.

    Also more text space to type in the subtask. Cuts off really early, at least on desktop.

  19. Provide option to only show badges for tasks assigned to you

    Any.do's badge system worked well for me when I was the only person on a list. However, now I have a shared list with a coworker, and I see badges for tasks I am not responsible for. This breaks the app for me.

    Please provide an option to only see badges for tasks that are assigned to you.
