    On the calendar, when you have a task for a certain day, there should be a mark on said date to catch your eye that that day you have something to do or and event to attend.

    This way it would be very visual and you would be able to see at one glimpse of the eye what days you have things to do and what days you don't.

    Hope you take this into consideration.
