The lack of this feature is the only reason I also have an alarm app. I have alarms set for various tasks which I repeat everyday. Many parts of my job are time sensitive. I use alarms with unique ringtones for different activities. Where I hear the alarm tone, I already know what the alarm is for without looking at my phone and I can dismiss or snooze the alarm without looking at my phone and reading the screen.
When I need to leave the house for work, the sound of a reving engine roars. When I need to submit my time sheet, I hear the sound of a cash register. When I need to lock doors in my office at night, Hodor sings the theme song for GoT.

Change the "sound" option in the settings area to a default sound for new tasks. When a user creates a new task, add an option to change that task's alarm sound. (Maybe silent or vibrate can be options too?)
