Tasks: Sound of tasks and notifications
Can have custom notification sound that overrides other apps, which doesn't depend on the device's own notifications, the device muted or not, the task notification rings, as an alarm or a custom notification.

Location reminders are no good without sound notification that overrides silent mode.
I'm not staring at my phone while driving, so I need the the notification jingle to jog my memory when I'm driving within the vicinity of my selected "location"

I am looking for new product as I need to hear the reminders and calendar. I don't want to hear everything else on my phone thus need default silent and change only the ones I want to sound. Plus I use different sounds to know what was the notification to see if I need to look at phone.

Also have the option to record your own sound for vocal reminders. It is unbelievable that a premium reminder service does not have a feature like this

Allow Custom Choices or Importable Sounds for Notifications, Reminders, and Tasks.
For me, this is vital as currently the app only vibrates when it is attempting to remind me of something, thus I find myself missing my actual notifications when they pop up. I know this is person thing, but I'd really like to see this available as soon as possible.

Have they ever answered anyone about adding this feature?
Other reminder apps have this feature and it's pretty awesome. As an app developer myself, I can't understand how this feature isn't easy to implement and why they won't answer after all these years.
As a paid subscriber, they should at least give me an answer...

I would love for my repeating tasks to have the option to add individual notification sounds so that I know what I'm being reminded of before I even look. It would just be a menu of sounds that are already in my phone.
For example, one noise let's me know I need to leave for class. Another sound tells me it's time to feed my dog, she would probably learn the association too.
Many reminder apps have similar options. It's a shame that this app does not.

Really frustrating that this is not being looked into two years later.

You can choose the sound of notifications from different sources

Change the "sound" option in the settings area to a default sound for new tasks. When a user creates a new task, add an option to change that task's alarm sound. (Maybe silent or vibrate can be options too?)
The lack of this feature is the only reason I also have an alarm app. I have alarms set for various tasks, some of which I repeat everyday. Many parts of my job are time sensitive. I use alarms with unique ringtones for different activities. Where I hear the alarm tone, I already know what the alarm is for without looking at my phone. I can easily hit dismiss or snooze without looking at my phone.
When I need to leave the house for work, the sound of a reving engine roars. When I need to submit my time sheet, I hear the sound of a cash register. When I need to lock doors in my office at night, Hodor sings the theme song for GoT. If I need to remember something for my girlfriend, her ringtone plays.

Hi all , I really really think that this app should enable "in-force" alarm which means it will ring just like the default iPhone alarm even while the headset on ... But it will ring from the speakers not the mic , this option is very very helpful very good , while driving or sometimes many people leave the headsets plugged in most of the time , I've seen two or more apps that alarms through the speaker if you want that option but unfortunately it's only alarm you can't write any memo's

Update: Sadly, I have to discard Any.do and go back to the default reminder app. Once the alert issue is remedied I will be the first to return. Leaves me heartbroken

Add the option to change alert tones to those in my personal selection. As is I can never hear the alarm if working (loud office), driving, in a group of people or even if it's only one room away.
I'm very disappointed & frustrated that I can not really use Any.do because I can't hear the default alert tone.
Please address this issue, either by providing a louder, longer alert tone if you insist on using your default tones or, allowing us to choose from tones already on our device.
Thanks,
Mark
