    The question is a bit complex.
    On the left-hand side, when a user adds a task and wants to edit it, it makes sense to put it on the top of the list for the sake of navigation (especially in mobile apps)
    On the right-hand side, once editing is completed, presence of the task on the top of the list becomes confusing.

    I would suggest a feature something like "push sorted", meaning that when the user saves a task with "push sorted", the task goes later than tasks earlier, and earlier than later tasks
