How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

    Ability to drag tasks to Calendar and plan the day
    After adding task to the list - One has the ability to drag the task to daily agenda and rearrange again.

    Have a timer running for the task in focus mode

    Example : Like the App SUNSAMA have done

  2. My Day Page Reformed Layout

    I would like to request the following features for the My Day View.

    1) That there should be a schedule Timeline Mixed Tasks and Events.
    2) Option to sort and filter by Category/Importance Level.
    3) The Tasks should show in detail the time of the task.
    Just to get the understanding of what I'm looking for please check out the Schedule View on Google Calendar along with Tasks in between events.

  3. Allow for more frequent reminders for recurring tasks, with more customization.

    I have to check specific things multiple times every hour. I'd like to be able to make recurring tasks have reminders every 15-30 minutes, every hour, two hours, twice or thrice a day, etc...
    As it stands I can only set recurring tasks to 'daily' reminder. So I guess I have to create many daily recurring tasks set for different times of day with a daily recurrence?

  4. Desktop badge notifications

    Mac/Windows desktop apps do not have badge notification. Please add it like we have it in iOS apps.

  5. I need language support.

    I am Turkish and can use it on mobile with the Turkish language. But on the desktop, I can not find the Turkish language option. Please add.

  9. I really need to see Notification longer!!! Notification should dissapear when I click on postpone or done

    For me is very very critical, when I am not on a computer and I didn't see a reminder, I basically miss it. So, it appears only for 2 seconds and dissappear.
    I need to see it even if I missed on desktop.

  11. Add an option for completed task to stay in place and not sink to bottom

    Add an option to just tick the task and not sink to bottom
    The task should not fade to gray and task should be on the place it is
    Only the task should be striked

    Add the option to decied whether it will sink or not.

  14. Setting to remove icon from MenuBar (macOS)

    There would be a setting in the app "show icon in menuBar". Because right now as long as Any.do is opened, the icon is visible and there is no way to hide it.

    This makes me quit the app instead of closing the window, because I don't want this icon in my MenuBar.

  15. Integrations: Add a recurrence option to Zapier

    Add the ability to set Tasks as Recurring from Zaps Google sheet Columns (1 column to allow recurring and another to say every year/month/day) I have many tasks that I add using zapier integration but the integration does not support recurring and I have to go to each task individually and delete reminder then create a new recurring one which is time consuming...

  16. Larger task pannel in DT

    When viewing the list of tasks in DT - the tasks are displayed in a relatively short column. Therefore I can only view 5-6 tasks in the column viewport.

    There is plenty of screen real estate . You can move the UI control sitting above the task column and stretch the column to the full height of the screen, thus providing a much better view of all the pending tasks

  17. Please filter search by List

    Can we please filter the search by a spefic list? Right now it searches everything and it is very confusing. I don't think this would be a hard thing to implement and be very useful to everyone. Love the app, use it every day!

  18. Allow task and calendar lists to be expanded on website view to see longer task descriptions.

    When viewing Tasks in list view or tasks and calendar in the Calendar view, allow the dialog boxes to be widened so more details can be visible. I'm working using a web browser and there is a lot of room on the screen but the boxes cannot be widened.

  19. system should know Due Sat 23:00hrs means task is due Saturday 11pm

    I do send tasks via whats app with due dates and time but the system doesn't recognize it
    Mon Tue Wed Thur Fri Sat Sun I suggest that the system is able to know such are days of the week
    eg

  20. google contacts

    Desktop software should be able to access google contacts, so that the "Call" feature that fetches contact details in mobile phone, should reflect the same in desktop software
