How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Possibility to edit or switch off shortcuts

    I think it should be implemented. I am using polish keyboard for writing polish letters, combination of ALT + S gives you Ś, for example. But when I try to type it in, quick reminder window pops up instead. I cannot see any way to edit shortcuts in Any.do unfortunately.

  2. Provide an option to suppress the calendar

    Sorry but I don't use the calendar at all so I really don't want it taking up half my screen real-estate

    This just isn't how I want to be using AnyDo

  3. Desktop: Easily add tags to new tasks

    When I try to create a new task, I want to be able to attach a tag to the task to categorize it properly. When I click the tag button, it only provides me four tag options from my list of available tags (sorted alphabetically here which is inconsistent with other areas in the app). To get around this, I need to create the task, open it and then add the tags as a separate step.

    Users should be able to do everything as part of one step, instead of multiple.

  4. Improve My Day list ordering

    My current difficulty with My Day is getting items in the correct order of priority. A lot of my tasks don't have due dates, they're just things that need to get done, often the priority can change daily.

    When adding items to My Day from other lists or suggestions, add them to the bottom of the list (or give me a setting we can change to swap between top or bottom). When creating my My Day list I will be selecting the highest priority item first and so on. Minor list adjustment will take place once the list is created.

    You already have the option to simply drag and drop items within the My Day screen to your preferred order 🤓

  5. expand calendar window, so as to see more times throughout the day

    Currently, on the main page, the good morning message, is a little off from the top and pushes down the space for the task and calendar windows. As a result I am only able to calendar/task items between 7am-5pm only or 8am-6pm (if i scroll down). I would like to see more off these two main windows; and clicking the X - to get rid of the good morning message doesn't work - (as a way to expand these windows). Please look into this.

  6. Add Proton Calendar

    I'm trying to phase out my Google account and have switched to the more secure Proton service. It would be nice to connect the two.

  7. Have a task auto reschedule if not complete on a particular day.

    If you have a task you need to complete and instead of having to manually reschedule to ensure it is complete, there should be a toggle option to have the task "follow" you and continually show on your Day view until it is complete. I find myself having to go into my backlog to find what I missed.
