How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Integration: Add tasks from email clients

    I need the same capibility to create tasks with the chrome extension directly from your desktop email on my mobile phone. I have to wait till I get on my desktop to create tasks from my emails.Which i think is your best feature!!!

  2. Product: Check-boxes for Subtasks

    In Task View, you can not distinguish between tasks and notes. For many entries it is very confusing. A checkbox like in the calendar view would be very helpful here.

  4. Views: Date + List View

    There should be a view where you can see tasks in their time categories and also still see what list they are in, or vice versa. Either by a color, or small symbol to the left of the task.

  5. Sharing: Share reminders

    If you're sharing a task with a loved one... necessary to transfer alarms too.

  6. "Monthly" Calendar View option

    Add the ability to view all events within a given month on a monthly view, rather than just day, 3 day or weekly. Ex: Google Calendar allows the same options of Day, 3 days and Weekly but also has an additional "Monthly" option which will bring up the entire month calendar and show events on each given day of the month. This allows for better planning on a quicker, more efficient & broader spectrum to see what part of the month you are busiest or have the most free time.   7. Notes: Add a timestamp

    When adding a new note or adding paragraph within a note it would be good to have a timestamp of the date timestamp automatically added as a subtitle above the note text.

  8. Timer/Count-Down Clock

    It would be wonderful to have a countdown clock - where it can keep track of my time for a particular task. Similar to this app I downloaded.

  10. Notes: Bigger display

    The view-ability for notes is very minimal. I believe it would look a lot nicer if there was a bigger display for notes.

  11. UI: Disable 'pull to add a new task'

    Everytime i try to check if there is more tasks down the page, I'm led to the "new task" page :-( and it's most of the time not my intention (maybe offer ro choose another gesture for that?)

    This feature was removed from our latest iOS version (4.15).

  12. Grocery List: Categorize by items

    I would like a grocery list that categorizes all items into categories like: produce, dairy, household items, etc. It was extremely helpful when food shopping because all of my items were in order by aisle. Please consider integrating something like this into your app.

  13. Alexa: Sync more lists

    I have a separate list for items to pick up at Costco vs the Grocery Store, vs Yard Work To-Do vs House To-Do vs Work To-Do. The Alexa app only has two lists available and I don't see a feature to be able to add new lists or modify list names. I just linked Alexa to Any.do and now I have all those lists in any.Do, but I can only get alexa to sync to the original two lists - Shopping List and To Do List. Now those two will sync with Any.Do, but it doesn't allow me to break…

  14. Alexa: Shopping items shouldn't show as tasks

    Alexa Shopping List items are showing up as to-do tasks. Shouldn't they be added as sub-items to a parent item?

    Alexa Shopping items no go under the Someday category, disassociating them from any specific date.

    While searching , it does not looks for tags.
    It should take care of text in tags

  17. Sharing: Indicate task owner

    Add owner's icon next to task description to indicate who is the task assigned to. This is usefull when multiple people are sharing the list

    It would be great if it would be possible to share sub tasks and not just the whole folder.

  19. Calendar: Add event reminder

    You can add the time of the reminder other than the event. Eg: meet Mr. Esposito on 15/06 at 12.00 - but remember me at 11.30. Thank you
