Alexa: Sync more lists
I have a separate list for items to pick up at Costco vs the Grocery Store, vs Yard Work To-Do vs House To-Do vs Work To-Do. The Alexa app only has two lists available and I don't see a feature to be able to add new lists or modify list names. I just linked Alexa to Any.do and now I have all those lists in any.Do, but I can only get alexa to sync to the original two lists - Shopping List and To Do List. Now those two will sync with Any.Do, but it doesn't allow me to break it down into different lists other than the original two. I want to Voice Command to (1) Create a new Any.Do list and give it a name, then pick what type of list (timeline, regular list, priority list). (2) I want to voice command to add an item to any Any.Do list and then have Alexa prompt to ask for either timeline info or priority info, then ask if I want to add a memo. (3) I want to ask Alexa to share a list with a friend. (4) I want to ask Alexa to give me updates of incoming List Invitations or Notifications, then accept or decline invitations.
We’ve recently released our Custom Lists Integration as part of the new Any.do Skill for Alexa :)
Users may now choose the exact lists they wish to sync! Read more about it, here: https://goo.gl/Jw7Lwe

I just rated the any.do Amazon Alexa skill only 2 stars because of that limitation. Adding the ability to integrate with ANY list should like fairly simple thing to build but the other popular list apps have the same limitation so perhaps it is a restriction imposed by Amazon. IFTT may be able to help.

Agreed!!! I am new to Alexa and Any.do but it seems that the shopping lists really need a lot of development and work to be functional and useful. I would like to see multiple shopping (or other list) capabilities, with sub categories. For instance, a Target list, and a Costco list, and within those, sub categories for drinks, refrigerated, packaged, fruits & vegetables, etc. It would need to sync with both Siri and Alexa between the Any.do app so that I could ask either of them to add an item to any list at any time. And as noted, it should be a different system than the to do or task lists, as if you have something on a shopping list you don't need a deadline; you just want to keep track of and organize the items.
