How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Give the possibility to insert also endind time of a task, so that after you did it you can also track how much time you spent on that

  3. Reminder time vs event time

    When I write the time off the event, it shouldn’t be erased because I make a reminder for a different time. I need to be reminded before the event. Its extremely frustrating! I might decide to learn a new app if this isn’t fixed. Multiple reminders isn’t a bad idea either.

  4. Different event times and reminder times

    When I write down the time of the event I don’t want it erased because I write down a different reminder time. This is extremely frustrating and I’m surprised I haven’t decided to learn a new app. Multiple reminders or location reminders wouldn’t hurt either.

    When natural language is used to denote date but not time, time has a default that is not midnight and can be changed by preference in settings.

  7. Disable/Remove Reminders

    I need to move tasks around all the time - multiple times per day. Every time I change the day for a task, I need to manually tap/slide the reminder setting to the off position. Sometimes it doesn't even save that setting so the reminder comes back.

    I don't use reminders at all so having to manually disable them all the time is cumbersome. Can we have a setting to just disable that feature entirely? At the very least, remove the logic where it automatically turns the reminder back on whenever the date changes on a task.

  8. Change the custom time for postponing the alarm when i press the "tomorrow" button

    I'd like to be able to change the custom time for postponing the alarm when i press the "tomorrow" button. As I wake up early everyday, i'd like the todo's to be on the screen by 6 am, so i could plan better my day.

  9. For Alerts, have it take up the whole page like samsung calendar

    Create an alert for events and tasks and have it operate like Samsung calendar where the alert takes up the whole page. It comes on even when you sign into your device

  10. Tasks: Pause reoccurring tasks

    It would be nice to pause reoccurring tasks until a future date. For example, when I'm on vacation pause my tasks to water plants until I return home. This prevents needing to remake the task when I get home but keep my task list relevant.

  11. Select lists to appear

    It would be great if I could select the lists that I want to see (for example with a checkbox or switch button).
    So for example, I have 5 lists and I want to see only 2 of them and hide the other tasks.

  14. Custom list hot button

    Have a button at the top of every screen in the app that allows you to go to a list that you specify it links to. Like, I'd set the button to grocery list so I can go to it at any time with one press.

  16. be able to add subtasks to MyDay

    The idea of subtasks is great for organising steps, but for big tasks being able to add each subtask to the a day would be very good

  18. Sending customized reminders on whatsapp instead of just task name

    Reminders received on whatsapp are just the title of task, there are no details included such as sub tasks, footnotes etc. Instead of using task title for reminder message, kindly develop a function wherein user can customize a reminder E.g - For a task of shopping the user can customize reminder message on whatsapp as : " Don't forget to buy groceries".

  20. Simplify stuff , stop keeping things so convoluted, see your recent playstore reviews.

    If this app is an Enterprise app then its okay may be, but mostly enterprises don't need such apps as they already have tons of software to mange their workflow mostly coming from Microsoft & others like Jira etc.
    For personal users, this app is too confusing & there is a learning curve, which I don't want to travel for sure.
    No monthly view calendar for personal premium plan, doesn't justify things. Any.do is depending on 3rd party integrations more than creating its own features.
    You have some advantages like whatsapp integration and better reminders, but you lack the simplicity…
