How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Grocery list: Manual reordering with drag and drop

    It would be really helpful to be able to drag & drop items in grocery list, so you could manually reorder your list.

    Currently, if you add items not in the specified order, and whole list cant fit into the screen, you need to scroll the list very often. For example when you in a section of a shop, you need to scroll the list multiple times to find which item to pick up next, and repeat this every time when u forgot it.   2. Smartwatch integration

    Make it possible to use the app via smart watches. At least the reminder function: to be able to receive the reminder notifications on watches like Samsung Galaxy Watch 3.

  9. Set different start time on repeating task

    Having the issue there I have a task that has one start time during the week and another during the weekend. Now I have solved this by making two identical task but with different start times. But it looks odd having two task with the same name. Would be nice to have the option to set different time depending on what day of the week it is.

    Widget Calander mode: Highlight dates having task assigned with a small preview, display tag colours around the date.
    Display all nearby agendas below, not just today's. (So that we can prepare in advance)

  11. Search for tasks... Allow access to more than 7 tasks found with indication there are more

    When searching for tasks, etc, it shows a maximum of 7 tasks with no indication that there are more, and no way to find more.

    Please increase this limit and allow access to all search results, maybe via pagination, etc.

    Please also add an indicator that there are more than the limited number of results.

  12. Display each individual task's list (Personal, Work etc) below or beside it in the All Tasks page

    In the All Tasks page the only option to see the lists is to individually click on each task or sort by list. However when sorting by list it is difficult to sort out according to the time and date the Tasks have been scheduled. Keeping the list name beside the task makes it easy to sort out according to both time and list. This is a feature which is present in pretty much all the free to do apps out there, it's weird it's not here already.

    Make sorting newest first by default in daily list.
    Now if you add new item in list, it go to the first row. But in first row needs to be a "last item" in list. Make please changing and selecting order of listing in settings.

  15. Allow to change default due time or date for new notes

    If i add a new note via the app, i can directly select

    • Tomorrow morning
    • Next week
    • Someday
    • Others

    Only the someday option leads to a simple note, without poping up later forcing me to select a date or time. I need to open the Moments feature and then click someday for all of my notes. Which is annoying.

    I would like to select "Someday" as my default setting for new notes.

    If i add a note via the widget, there is no select of these options. So i end up with the described problem.

  17. Font size adjustment on Android

    1. The font size for tasks is small and not bold enough and tag color bar is too small to see easily.
    2. The gray font (light mode) is much too light.
    3. The gray font (dark mode) is much too dark.
    4. Almost all fonts on task details are too small and grays are either too light (light mode) or too dark (dark mode). I really appreciate Any.do and really want to use it. I've subscribed multiple times, but always end up canceling due to my issues with the fonts.

  20. Widgets: Android calendar widget enhancements

    Can we have calendar+task in one nice widget in one single list.I dont want to click tab in current widget.Right now widget is too thick and space waste.
    I want clean minimal widget without any header or button.

    • Just one nice list of any.do task + calendar event
    • option for full transparency rather than 80%
    • option for font-shadow to increase readability
    • no header footer space waste
    • option to make is compact, cozy, comfortable like google nature. Reduce space between item and font size.
