todoist have a good rest API https://developer.todoist.com/rest/v8/ , this is something very important to integrate with third party services which according to https://anydo.uservoice.com/forums/143587-general/suggestions/9092749-integration-api-third-parties was added to the 2019 roadmap, but enabling a rest api for at least premium users you are unlocking us to come with integrations with smaller services and help you keep up with the ever growing number of services that people would like to integrate with.

It would be nice to tell Cortana to add a task or appointment into Any Do

Instead of building an integration for every single external tool, please build a general purpose REST api that people can authenticate with and do whatever they want with. This will allow other people to create their own external integrations as well as unique ad-hoc solutions for the personal workflows.
