Lists: Allow for more layers
Just like a subtask, but inside lists.
If I have a big assignment, just like a birthday party, I should be able to create a list named Birthday Party, create sublists like Cake, Decoration and Invitations and then, inside those lists create each individual task with its subtasks inside of them.
This feature will be available in the near future. Stay tuned :)

Currently, we can allow for three levels of nested lists (i.e. we can create subtasks within lists within lists). I'd like to be able to nest lists much further -- five or more levels of nested lists would be ideal.

This would allow for a more complex task tree when needed.
The ability to add more detail to each subcategory would also be extremely valuable -

I can create a master folder called school and put all my different classes as subfolders. That way I can easily arrange each task within each class but still have a masterview of all my upcoming assignments

Another example would be if I wanted to create a grouping for "Home", this would contain only lists that are related to anything outside of work. If I select Work, I should only see my lists for work. and if i select "Home" I should only see my lists related to home. There should also be a way to view "all" lists.

I totally agree, this would be invaluable.
When is it available -

I would like to be able to drag and drop my lists from the main screen that shows all my active lists into multiple customizable folders that can organize my lists per department/project. This would be incredibly useful to me as then i could use this app for all of my project organization whereas now i am only able to use it for 1 project with multiple folders for each department or focus per single project.

To have sub-task folders inside main task folders

Exactly. I want to keep my work lists and personal lists separate. We need subfolders so when we see "all" work & personal can remain separate.

the sub folders are great but for each sub folder e.g. "building project 1" I need separate folders e.g. " budget issues", "things to buy", people to phone", etc. While the next folder would be "building project 2" with similar, or other subfolders underneath

This would help us organize in sub categories

Sometimes I have lists that I want to manage together and some I want to manage completely separately - e.g. Movies, Places to visit etc. It would be a nice feature to be able to group Lists. Actually just to see all tasks from "sub lists" as they were in that list. This could be also achieved by allowing the task to be in multiple lists.
Example:
List 1:Laundry, Dishes
List 2: Buy groceries
List 3: Totoro, Nausicaa
List 4: Laundry, Dishes, Buy groceries -

I'm a very organized person when it comes to computers, so I usually have lots of folders within folders. Therefore, I would be psyched if Any.do allowed for lists within lists. The sub-tasks are better than nothing, but I would really prefer the availability of sub-lists.

If I wish to note down the things I need to take while packing up, the interface for this situation is not good, it shows each object as a to do list, it would be better if there is a sublist for each to do list.

I second this, the ability to create sub lists in a hierarchical manner would certainly assist me. I use many lists for many different purposes, both work and personal. Navigating and measuring how either side of my life is performing is currently difficult.

Right now you have lists then Task then Sub tasks.
I use Any.do for personal and work so I would really like to be able to to have a way to organise my list into families. For example I would have Personal and Work as top families. In work I could then have multiple list with their own tasks and sub tasks. Also I after using ASANA and Trello I would really like to be able to assign deadline to every subtasks.... Hope to hear from you soon
Best wishesJ
Ps also can you had an hourly reminder? it would be super useful for reminding me to take break or drink water etc....

Allow users to group lists (or create sub lists), and have a summary "all" list for each group.
I.e. I am currently creating separate lists for each of my work projects - it would be great if there was an overview list where I could see all my work tasks and attribute them back to the my projects via simple tags/labels. Right now all my personal tasks and work tasks are mixed up in the "all" list, which essentially makes the list un-usable.
