Please add the option for a persistent reminder notification, it's so easy to swipe the reminder away.

This is the most important thing that prevents me from using Any.Do even more. If this will work, I'll also make my calendar reminders (which I constantly miss) - go through this app.

Reminder should have 2 things to set, remimder time (or location based) and reminder type. In Time you set the reminder date, time and frequency (if it is reoccurring), while in Type you would be able to set Notification (what you have currently) or Alarm (current request). Alarm uses Android alarm sounds (instead of short notification sounds) and needs to be either dismissed or snoozed. I would only pay for Premium if this feature exists.

Having this feature of optional alarm as notification is quite important for me rather than a single beep.

Some tasks are quite important and I can’t miss those on the basis of a single pop up while others are less urgent and could be left with a single soft notification.

Yes! This is critical for me and one of the reasons I had downloaded any.do in the first place. As somebody with ADHD, I often outsource my working memory to technology. I purchased premium any.do because it syncs nicely with my laptop, mobile and galaxy watch. The problem with the reminder function is that it occurs as a once-off notification on my mobile or watch screen. Now the habit of clearing clearing messages from my screen often means that I will simply note the reminder in my mind and mark it as read. Now often the reminder will occur when I am busy at work etc. Therefore I can easily forget the reminder shortly after it has appeared. Ideally, I would like a reminder that has a snooze option for various intervals (e.g. 15 mins - 3 hours - 1 day etc). I would also like the snooze function to sync to my watch because my watch is my most accessible device. I may be away from my laptop or have my phone on my desk face down on silent (which I often do to concentrate on my work). If the notification to my watch doesn't have the snooze function, then I am forced to mark it as read to clear it from the screen. It will therefore clear the notification on all other devices and it will not reoccur.

I have been a paying subscriber of any.do for a couple of years now. But if I can't figure out a way to make this function work with my devices. I will have to uninstall and look for something else.

Please add this feature ASAP. This is a much needed feature and a basic functionality and requirement to remind the user about the task to be completed via an Alarm with a custom Ringtone.

The big downside for me that made me uninstall it is that only makes a simple sound like an incoming message. I need a sound like an incoming call that will continue until I close it, or at least will last for one minute. Otherwise if my phone is not close to me I am loosing the reminder. If this is not an issue for someone is a good application.

About the comment bellow, there is no option to choose any type of notification you like.
I am running Android 11 and the only option is to select sounds like those on sms.

This request has been here since 2015 (almost 6 years) and still not implemented... I think they might have a reason for not doing it. If so, can anyone of the any.do team at least tell us the reason? So we can understand why a very basic functionality request like this is still not implemented/won't. Please?

It would be great to set the time for all day event alarm. Sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night, alarms sound and I think it is better to set it in the morning before starting my day. It’s something to consider.

Yeah I conpletely agree with all these comments. Im a tradesman so can oftern be using noisy equipment. If i want to really not miss something scheduled I have to do it with different apps. It's a problem that definately causes me to rethink my subscription.
I tried to fix by creating my own notification sound that lasted ages but then I found I couldnt turn it off and it it could be embarrassing to have a sounds playing that I couldnt stop
Either it needs an alarm that can be snoozed or automatically retriggers after a cetain time
Or make it so the notification sound reoccurs if not actioned

Please add alarm sound. I am looking for this feature desprately

I love any.do. Most all of their features are well thought out. Except reminders. The reminder noise is not loud enough or long enough. Does anyone else experience this?

I would like to have a recurring alarm at various intervals for a single task..
When my phone is on the charger in another room, I don't get to hear the current one alarm..
One alarm for a single task is not enough..

I am not being rude at all but the alarm sound is too shot, it just clicks, someone can rarely hear it, can you make it a bit longer. Or maybe you can give the users a favor so that they can browse and put their favorite song as the alarm sound. Thanks for your your time.
