nstead of Tomorrow, Upcoming, etc allow us to rename those to “urgent, First Priority, Second Priority, etc.
We won’t be offering this option, however we are working on the tags/ color labels idea which will allow you much more flexibility when filtering tasks. You can stay on top of its progress here: https://anydo.uservoice.com/admin/forums/143587-general/suggestions/12796986-product-tags-labels-and-color-coding

rename "upcoming" and "someday" if we wish. For example I like it to be "this week" and "this quarter"

THIS is what I was going to suggest too. This would make scheduling so much easier and more efficient. I think most people have certain tasks they do weekly and seeing the week spread out in advance would help us to see those pockets of time to schedule random things that need to be fitted in.
Adding this feature to the subscriber version (and web version because I use both) would DEFINITELY make this app worth paying for!

I would like to be able to edit existing or add new headings within a list. For example to be able to change the "today" or "upcoming" heading to something else, or to be able to add my own new heading in the list like "weekly" or "monthly" that individual tasks can be placed under.

Yes! It's not only me - who thinks the same!)))
Current web.any.do Time View looks great in terms of design, usability etc, BUT what I'm missing a lot - is NOT only today, tomorrow and some day - BUT etire working week - so you can plan on monday morning all your week and then execute day-by-day....
Please provide current week view -

In addition to TODAY, TOMORROW, UPCOMING and SOMEDAY titles, I'd like a title added for DAY AFTER TOMORROW so that I can plan for whole weekend on a Friday.

I need a montly overview , now you have ,Today. Tomorrow, someday ... " but i need to list some events in a special month date. all the events for a pecial month without placing them at a special date .
e.x.: for January, februari. march, ...
so i can just have list for every special month -

A vehemently emphatic +1 on this idea. Any.do’s UX and VX is far superior to so many other “to do” apps out there. And yet, I am increasingly using a different to-do list because it’s based on the Eisenhower matrix. Even as a view/grid option, so we can manually organize our tasks. Owning this feature-space would be a huge advantage for your product.

+1 to this - I already do it informally in Any.do by making four categories (important and urgent; important, not urgent; urgent, not important; not urgent or important), but it would be great to combine the star system (important) and due dates (urgency) to make an eisenhower matrix view.

My someday tasks seem to get moved to the upcoming list all by themselves - I want to be able to choose when to move them. please provide the functionality of me being able to decide when to move things or set a time horizon for reviewing the someday list as at the moment, I am spending a lot of time sifting tasks from upcoming into someday

That's exactly what I would also prefer.

Something in between"tomorrow" and "upcoming" such as "in 2 days" or "in 3 days". I love this app but I feel like I waste so much time moving things to different due dates everyday and this would help so much! Thanks!

What about an organizational method that shows every day of the week instead of just today, tomorrow and upcoming.... It would look almost like a calendar, but with tasks instead of events.

This is my single biggest issue with Any.Do. There isn't enough granularity in "upcoming". I need to renew my drivers license in 2020 and my passport in 2023, but they both show up in the same list as "change the furnace filter" that's due next week, even though I don't remotely care about those tasks for years (literally!).

It would be far more efficient to quickly see all your tasks for today, tomorrow, etc within their respective tags. I have hundreds of to-do's and 3/4 of my time is spent dragging up and down the list to prioritize them. If they were broken down into their tasks then it would be much faster. I would use moment to accomplish a quick organization but again, you are limited in the number of tasks moment will allow you to action or postpone. PLEASES IMPLEMENT THIS ASAP. The platform is starting to get bogged down if you are a super power user.

I find that most of my tasks are things I need to do in the next couple of weeks. Tasks in the 'Someday' category are effectively forgotten since you never get a reminder, but categorizing as 'upcoming' means they are back in the today category in a couple of days meaning I am forever sifting tasks back into 'upcoming'. There is a need for a mid-range time horizon, perhaps 'This week' or 'Next couple of weeks' or 'within the next month'.

The point would be that the users could customise the different categories. For instance i do not need `today`but i need `this week`.Why cant i rename it?

Agree, it would be essential to create own categories in terms of date and priority, as well as customize the defaults.
