Views: Date view by time
Tasks based on the "reminder" is arranged in every category. means each " reminder" or "time" is closer to be in the front row automatically.
Lists can now be sorted by timeline! Web app has just been updated, mobile versions are being released and desktop will be updates very soon as well ;)

Automatic Order should be possible, that's a great idea! Without it, it is really annoying..

The absence of automatic ordering of tasks by reminder time in each day view is an absolute pain in the neck - please change this!

Task should arrange chronogically. Latest upcoming task first going down.
We should be able to set time for task when it is going to be done.
Reminder should be a seperate thing altogether
We need to be reminded during the start of the day for example. For a later time task say at 6pm -

Also would love to be able to view the calendar when scheduling out a task so I can see when it would best fit into my schedule!

Agreed. The absence of date sort and reasonable date groupings (7 day, 30 day, etc.) make the upcoming view a hot mess.

Ordering tasks by date should.... order them by date (and Time) within all subcategories (today, tomorrow, upcoming). Currently this view is such a mess !
Copied from another user. They nailed it.

Task to be rearranged by time once reminder set.

In the 'calendar/task 4x4' widget, it would help if the upcoming events/tasks are listed by date (with dates shown).
I have said widget on my Android homescreen to have a quick view of upcoming events/tasks.

It’s unclear to me whether this is the thread for the feature I’m looking for, but essentially what I would suggest is to have tasks in the today list sorted by time (when a time stamp has been allocated), or at the very least, move the evening times to the bottom of everything else

I suggest a over due task view. Some of use have more take than we someone can achieve. Instead moving all tasks into today. And overcroud that list requiring a huge task to move then into a new priority order. Create an overdue view next to today, tomorrow, upcoming and some day. Allow you to reset your priority going into a new week

Beyond Today and Tomorrow views, we need something that shows what is due this week (upcoming 7 days), organized and sorted by day. Example, it’s Monday morning and you are trying to plan your week. If I see a task tomorrow that I know I can’t finish or work on then, would like to see by day how me week looks. Right now we only see dates in Upcomjng and the items don’t even sort by the closest date. If I could see them grouped by day (in that week) I might see that Thursday is a better day for me. Also besides just picking a date in the task, should be able to just drag it to Thursday.

No, that's not a good replacement. It helps until you implement this, but it sounds like the logic in the app isn't written well. Naturally this should sort by date/time if there's a date/time attached.
I think it's ridiculous that you have to open the app on your phone, and then switch to calendar view to see the item in order.

Manual sorting is a lovely idea however it takes such a lot of time going through a long list of tasks and putting them in order. Being able to sort by time or even by coloured priority tags would make life so much easier.

Enable to arrange tasks in time order so if I add a task at an earlier time it goes to the top of the tasks list

Very confusing to have a 4pm task read before a 9 am task... reminder setting or otherwise.
Additionally, on a phone, a full month’s calendar and a single day’s agenda of more than 5 tasks is unbearably full... maybe select one week at a a time? Will post as another idea -

I was also thinking that re-arranging tasks based on time would be a good idea but it will indeed affect the the entire logic. So don't do that BUT (as you already suggest) it would be very helpful if, for those tasks that have a reminder, instead of a bell, add the time set for reminder. I am talking about the web version of Any.do, since this is how the mobile app works. Could you do that?

Can you please reconsider this requested improvement? Maybe as a separate setting, but I would be willing to "give up" reordering tasks to have them automatically organize by the set reminder time. Possibly adding a separate "priority" label would allow for a compromise.
