How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Completed tasks on the calendar

    I am trying to utilize this app to plan and schedule house work. I would like to look back on the calendar to see when was the last time the air filter was changed.

    Widget Calander mode: Highlight dates having task assigned with a small preview, display tag colours around the date.
    Display all nearby agendas below, not just today's. (So that we can prepare in advance)

  3. UI: Prevent task reminder from interrupting other actions (camera recording for instance)

    Prevent the app from generating reminders whilst the user is performing actions such as using the keyboard or the Camera application.

    I've had several instances where a reminder has interrupted my typing, or stopped a video recording (sometime during a critical moment!). I really love the reminder feature but it could just calm down while I'm doing other things first :P

  4. Turkish notification support. It's a completely Turkish app.

    Some of the incoming notifications are in English. Please have full Turkish language support. If it's all in Turkish, I'll buy Premium.

  5. Moment: visual day schedule

    This might help a lot but maybe lots of work. During the moment, allow for drag and drop of the tasks into a grid of the day. Maybe users could choose either the tradional or drag-drop method

  6. Moment: Add a follow-up Moment

    It would be good to have a mid-day followup moment. Someone suggested end-of day, but my idea is that it's middle of the day and sort of a reminder.

  7. Edit Multiple tasks on mobile

    I think I would useful to select actions to multiple tasks on mobile. Web service is useful but cant be performed on the go.

  10. Task page

    1.Task page to have time lines visible . we shall be able to place tasks between time slots like between 10 am 11.am.12.am like that and these time slots should be visible as horizontal lines.

    2.Provision to Migrate from task page of each day to next or previous through arrow buttons on either side of today with date

  11. Add a refresh button to Android's widget

    Currently, the widget get automatically updated every X minutes. This causes the following bug:

    Scenario:
    1. See that the widget's tasks are up-to-date (hereinafter "first snapshot" of tasks).
    2. Enter the app, and make a change (e.g. mark a task as completed).
    3. Exit the app and review the widget.

    Expected:
    1. The updated list of tasks is being displayed.

    Actual:
    1. First Snapshot of tasks is still being diaplayed.

    The way other companies solved such an issue, is to add a refresh button to the top row or the widget.

  13. Display each individual task's list (Personal, Work etc) below or beside it in the All Tasks page

    In the All Tasks page the only option to see the lists is to individually click on each task or sort by list. However when sorting by list it is difficult to sort out according to the time and date the Tasks have been scheduled. Keeping the list name beside the task makes it easy to sort out according to both time and list. This is a feature which is present in pretty much all the free to do apps out there, it's weird it's not here already.

  14. White dots underneath dates showing days that have tasks in calandar widget

    Could you put an indicator on the calendar widget that signifies days that have tasks?

    Without having any indicator, I have to click through each day individually to check if I have any tasks that day.

    With a little white dot below the date, I would be able to see upcoming tasks at a glance.

    I would really appreciate this a lot, this would help out a lot when I am planning/scheduling and looking ahead.

    Tasks are visible in Calender and Tasks widget. A feature to hide tasks in Calender widget is needed to avoid repetition.

  17. Smartwatch integration

    Make it possible to use the app via smart watches. At least the reminder function: to be able to receive the reminder notifications on watches like Samsung Galaxy Watch 3.

  18. Grocery list: Manual reordering with drag and drop

    It would be really helpful to be able to drag & drop items in grocery list, so you could manually reorder your list.

    Currently, if you add items not in the specified order, and whole list cant fit into the screen, you need to scroll the list very often. For example when you in a section of a shop, you need to scroll the list multiple times to find which item to pick up next, and repeat this every time when u forgot it. Manual reording would be really helpful, with this feature you can manually group items by your…

  19. tag colors

    i bought the premium manly for the colors, to have order in my eyes.
    but i found out that the colors are just a little tiny line in the begining of the task.
    and than i need to remember all the colors and which color is what tag.

    i wish all of the backrounds of each task will colord by the chosen color and that the name of the tag will appear also benith every task.
