   A reminder notification should be persistent like every 10 mins, till it is attended to by snoozing it , cancelling it or by modifying it. On the phone after the notification if the phone is used for the something else the reminder disappears told the app is opened. Since the iPhone does not have a widget feature on home screen it difficult to be on top things.
