When you have a lot of repeating tasks (as I do - my entire cleaning schedule is a list of weekly or monthly repeating tasks), it's daunting to look at a folder that says "120 TASKS" under it, when only 10 of them are to be completed that day. It would be nice to have a setting where you could choose to see one or the other (either total tasks or current day's count) or possibly even both, side by side, without having to dive into the folder. I generally use my folders to group task locations (things I have to do on the computer vs things I have to be in my home to complete vs errands) - this helps me see things I can complete when I'm on my lunch break at work (computer based) or that can't be done until I'm home. However, grouping them this way doesn't allow me to get a quick glance at how many urgent (due today) tasks I have "waiting for me" when I get home or get to a computer. It would help me better decide where to start if I know which categories of tasks can be knocked out quickly by looking at the current days' number!
