UI: Adjust column width
The problem is that the column width is so narrow you can’t see enough of the Task Title.
The Task Title is the most important information; it needs to be seen in as much detail as possible.
There is a limit to the width because if the column is too wide, it can’t be comprehended easily—too long a string of words becomes something you can’t simply see and know all it says.
That optimal width may be as much as 4 times wider than the current column width in the Next 7 Days view.
In a similar vein, for most users, the Task Title is more important than info than seeing Tasks in later days.
Either way, while a user can scroll to the right to see later days, you have to click on the Task and bring up a Pop-Up to see enough of a longer Task Title to comprehend it fully. The problem is that when you have a Pop-Up on the screen, you can’t see other Tasks and understand the larger picture of all you have to do.
The key is seeing several Tasks at once, comprehending them immediately without doing anything else, and then deciding what to do next. More text in Task Titles, meaning wider columns, does this.
Making column widths adjustable allows users to tailor all this whatever they prefer—this is what I’m hoping.
P.s. adjusting one column should probably adjust all the day’s columns because it makes working with columns easier and more aesthetically pleasing.

I concur this is an issue as well. This thicker task box seems to fix something that I didn't think was broke and makes the tool less user friendly and usable.
I also find that the new format makes it difficult to reorder tasks via drag & drop. It takes multiple times to get the drop in the right place to achieve the order that I am seeking. Not sure why this change was made for the web desktop view while the simple task list is still in place for the iphone and ipad platforms I use.

I have tested a new "thicker" task design for Desktop for some time (it is the 9th of Dec 2022). It has become very inconvenient now.
I don't know who wants to scroll four screens to find the necessary task/note?
It must be at least switchable (longer list-shorter list or something like that).
If there would be a button to switch modes for those who like to read articles on every note and scroll forever and those who want to have a "helicopter view" on my daily and tomorrow tasks as much as possible on one screen.
This was a significant advantage of Any.do for all these years by the way.
I hope someone will hear this. (Twitter became great remaining brief, the same can be true for note managers)I really hope that no one will change the design for mobile devices, otherwise it will take forever to scroll to the end of my note column :)
