Product: Option to delete non completed tasks
I need everyone to vote for this because this is the most crucial and important feature yet it is not in this app.
The ability to delete a friggin non completed task. I can't even complete a "someday" task..yet delete it cause it's not complete. This is so annoying. One of the biggest reasons why I'm not buying the premium version
In our newest design for the task view, we offer the option to simply delete a task via a designated button :)

Make a delete button so it's easier to remove the completed tasks or take you don't need anymore. Because I am having a hard time trying to delete a task that I have long since completed and it's SUPER annoying when I can't make it go away in the quick bar.

If I want to delete a task, I have to swipe to complete it, scroll all the way down my long list of tasks and then press on a tiny x. It would be better to have a way to quickly delete tasks. Especially useful for tasks I add by mistake or decide I no longer want to do.

I would seriously like an option to remove a task added by mistake from a list. All other apps have this feature and it is such a basic requirement from the app and its developers.

I thought it would be a great idea to be able to have the food in the house that I actually need rather than the stuff that I don't need. If your program had the ability to delete something on the list we would have food to eat versus someone always buying the wrong items because you cannot delete anything on the list. All the other lists programs give you the ability to actually rearrange the list so you buy the cold stuff last versus first and also it gives you that miraculous ability to either delete or cross it off. I end up having to do 3000 screenshots of the items I want printing them out and then using a marker to cross out the items I don't need this cost me a good 30 hours extra per week when I should be working out or brushing my teeth. About 45 years ago are used to make a to-do list and it came with a pencil so we could check it off or an eraser which means we could remove it. It was an absolute miraculous thing back in the 60s. Which is why I don't waste my time on this program and it's taking me over 2 years to find the place where you can actually make a brilliant suggestion.

I don't want to mark a task that I don't want anymore as completed. There needs to be a separate repository for completed tasks alone rather than putting everything under one umbrella.

Absolutely agree. This has made the app so frustrating that I'm deleting.
I had this app 3 years ago, and I loved using it. For a while it wasn't working for me but I decided to come back and give it another go...and now its even MORE unintuitive and useless.
Google Keep is more functional than this.BAD Design.

Sometimes I want to delete an item off my list because it's no longer relevant/no longer needs completing, and I'd rather not mark it as completed if it hasn't been — please add a trashcan option to the "edit list item" pop-up window!

Double clicking to remove a task seems counter-intuitive.
Repeatedly clicking on a task should toggle a task between "completed" and "unfinished" states. Sometimes it is easy to finish a task by mistake.
To remedy the problem, based on the (hopefully) modular design of the website, create an "x" button next to the check-mark on the "mouseover/hover" event for the tasks, add a "delete" option on the task edit popover, and then have those buttons call the "Delete Task" api in place. Not a whole lot of new code to write, I hope.

I happened to realize several times that a "delete-button" for every individual task (in the drop-down menu (in the app) or upon opening the task (in the browser-extension)) would be incredibly helpful. This would be a great feature when it comes to obsolete tasks that are for whichever reason not "to-do" any longer, but were technically not completed and should not be too difficult for your ITs to implement.

How do I get to the completed tasks or delete individual tasks?

Rather that forcing users to mark the task they want to delete as "Complete" and then clearing completed tasks, give users the option to actually DELETE the task, in a simple process.

If I want to reorganize my tasks or I added something by mistake and I want to remove it, right now I have to:
1. Mark it as finished.
2. Shake the phone
3. Click "yes"
4. Go to settings
5. Go to completed tasks
6. Delete allI simply want to delete the task guys... come on.... :)

Deleting or modifying tasks are way too complicated. It would be easier and much more convenient if we could long press a task and be given the option to delet the task or modify the task.
